New game at 3Dice called 'SAKURA SHINE', it's a six-reeler ways slot (4096 ways) which is a first for them, previously they've only had 243-way games in the ways category.

I'm only about 1200 spins into it at the moment, base game doesn't seem to have a massive amount going on so the feature is where it's at, the idea is to get four of the top-tier symbols evolved into a top-tier dragon symbol by collecting dragons with glowing red eyes.

More scatters for the trigger = more spins to start with, you can also get extra spins in the round by getting two or more scatters on a spin, and every evolution awards one extra spin too.

This is my best so far at 375x stake, only a basic three scatters trigger but I got a decent number of retriggers and managed to get the reels fully evolved, albeit didn't manage any monster pays.

All four symbols now evolved into the dragon.

You can see the idea here, with fully evolved reels there are some nice stacks on there, far better than this is possible!

Bonus round frequency feels very '3Dice-esque' and probably down the lower end, maybe 1/150 or so, but there are some very low paying rounds in there.

I have seen some decent stacks in the base game but not hit any, best so far in the base game is 54x which was a reasonable number of ways on the ACE symbol.

OK I have now done just over 10,000 real money play spins on this slot, (Sakura Shrine at 3Dice), this is the best hit out of all those spins, 470x bonus round.

Not a bad result as I made wagering on a 100% match up to £100 bonus offer with a 10xD+B wagering requirement (i.e. £2000 WR), I did the whole lot on 20p spins on this game, and at the end of it I had just over £200 of withdrawable funds, so I doubled my money.

Overall I like this game but there are a LOT of poor bonus rounds, decent base game hits are rare but do happen occasionally, best I've managed is about 180x. It's a nice one to have trundling away while you're doing something else, and then focus on it when a bonus round starts getting interesting.

Longest spell between bonus rounds I've had is 744 spins. (So it got me the patience award this month at least, which is a £25 bonus on a 1xWR.)

Do be aware it's a lumpy game though (3Dice give it three out of three chillies for volatility), if you get a bad run on bonus round frequency, and the bonus rounds pay poorly when they do finally land, it can fairly chew its way through a balance (the base game is unlikely to save you) - so match your stake to your bankroll unless you're prepared for a proper death or glory punt!
