It's a common problem, and with many places.

IMPORTANT --- DO NOT TRY AGAIN until you have checked your online Neteller statement. This error often leads to the deposit being taken out of Neteller, but not getting to it's destination (Will Hill in this case).

Only if the funds have NOT been removed from Neteller is this a "genuine" failure to connect to Neteller.

The problem is caused by a lack of security in the eWallet system that can result in the request being processed with Neteller, but the receiving site throwing up an error saying contact was not made and to try again. This error message often misrepresents the situation, and trying again and again can dig the player into an ever deeper hole with many "lost" transactions.

The actual deficiency is that Neteller deducts the funds "in good faith" on request, but there is no "receipt" required from, say, Will Hill, to confirm that the transaction has properly completed needing to be received back at Neteller to confirm the fund removal. The result is that a transaction failure ocurrs that falls outside the error trapping capability of the system, and often requires the player to chase it up. This often leads to problems because no progress can be made until one of the parties will admit to their being an issue to start with. The gambling site will refer you to Neteller, whose own CS will tell you to go back to the gambling site, who will then insist you go back to Neteller. Neteller and the site will refuse to talk to each other to sort it out, and this involves the player running around in circles, and getting mad enough to be "rude to CS" themselves because of all the BS!!!

A permanent solution should be simple (the "receipt"), but despite nearly 3 years of this problem, this has still not been implemented.

Some gambling sites are better than other at dealing with this, some can do it quickly by manually extracting the info from their back end and manually completing the deposit, but others say you have to wait for "accounts" to investigate, and can quote up to 72 hours for this to even start if the problem was on Friday evening.
