Why does deposits with skrill/netteller often get excluded from bonuses?

Often when i get a bonus offer, i read that deposits with neteller or skrill is excluded. Is there a reason behind it? I thought those where faster options both ways, so in my head it makes no sense.

In the past both methods were used a lot by bonus abusers from certain countries.
Since then of course they have tighten security a lot and also blocked many countries and deposit methods from gambling or even transfering funds....

Some casinos keep that rule though, thinking that if nothing else it would filter away some of them.

There could be another reason related to the europe banking system or even brexit...... but I am not sure about that.

Largely due to bonus abuse. It was a case of having multiple Neteller accounts and transferring funds between them to sign up and claim the welcome bonus multiple times.

Fraud rings were operating in the UK and you can thank them for that :) - Well, mostly.

Still stinks as those using the method legitimately suffer the backlash.

One thing is to do it on welcome bonuses, that i can understand with your arguments. But to treath an old and loyal customer like a abuser, or criminal is just...

Yeah that is a problem - You could negotiate prior to deposit at some places in the past (for the welcome offer). Nowadays, most places only allow you to claim promotions post welcome bonus with those methods.
