Why cant I play WMS slots online but I can in B&M casinos?

Probably a dumb question but I went to the casino about 20 mins from me and they have all these great WMS slots like Zeus etc.

However when i try to play them online they say I am blocked from it.

Is it because they want me to play them in their casinos and not online?

Short explanation:

Local gaming licensing laws in your country prevent access to WMS games online. Same here in Australia.

The logic being to keep local funds from going offshore.

Software companies such as WMS would risk having their international licences revoked by local governments if they were to offer the same slots you see in your local casino, club, or hotel, online.

Can't remember the title thread off hand, but this topic has been covered in some detail here before.
