(hope i got all the dates right, but i provided pics too so no problem mon)

and on the side, what do you think of the newest 007, daniel craig? did he do okay or excellent or suck? and if they make another bond film, will it be set in the past like casino royale was, else they'd have to get someone else in?

(prequels are pretty stupid imo, case in point star wars, the technology far outpaces the old films yet occurs before. armies of clones and robots are succeeded by guys volunteering to get in white and black plastic suits)

I had to say Connery because he was the original, but I also thought Roger Moore was fantastic... and the latest guy Craig was great too! I don't think they ever picked a loser!

lazenby only got one flick, people must have hated him, oder? i haven't seen enough of the older ones (like three hours each especially with commercials), so i think i'ma vote brosnan. he's a good actor for 'smart' action flicks (thomas crown, the matador). i acknowledge connery as the true bond, but being the first gives him an unfair edge lol. which are the best individual movies iyo, in case i want to download one or two?

Never heard of this george lazenby guy! He looks a bit "light in his loafers" to play a macho role! :xxx <-- Lazenby and his boyfriend! :p

Connery is tops. Brosnan would be second.

Roger Moore was ok, but he was always 'the Saint' to me. :)

Craig looks and acts more like one of the criminals than 007. Totally bad casting choice in my mind. Suave and debonair he ain't.

you want bread? THREE DOLLAR!

belive it or not, at age 45 I havnt seen ONE Bond movie!!! I saw 5 minutes of one a long time ago and some huge guy with big gold teeth was after somebody, that was years ago lol

It's early days, but so far I must say I really like the gritty intensity, toughness and determination of the new James Bond - imo he's the most serious threat yet to the immortal James Bond portrayed by Sean Connery.

I agree with those 3 but I picked Craig - I thought the new movie was the best yet and he seemed to have it right...just that shower scene which let it down a bit IMO.

That's a big rod that Daniel Craig is holding. :D

A more interesting poll would have been who is the campest bond?

Daniel Craig without a doubt.

Old school: Connery was the original and best of them, no question. I think Moore just about killed Bond off with his stupid jokes and his "I'd rather be golfing" attitude.

New school: Daniel Craig was excellent! I think he's the closest thing there is to somebody who can be Bond and not a joke (all due respect to Brosnan who I normally quite like).

Craig is ice cold, steel-eyed, has got a bone for the trigger and is happy to take the job seriously. I mean let's face it, Bond is a stone-cold killer with a badge from the gov and a taste for the good life. He's a right nasty bastard with some class and who can do that better these days than Craig? Long live Bond!

Connery takes some beating, that's for sure and out of the others I thought Brosnan did the best job with his smooth, sophisticated but ruthless Bond....but then along came Craig with a grittier, dynamic portrayal that has more authenticity. I think that has the potential to be the best yet.

Well said! And I agree 100%. For the first time in decades I'm actually looking forward to the next Bond movie.

w00t, one of my old WC threads resurrected. maxd, you own it! how you liking it here so far buddy?

Larry Craig is my favorite 007 -- he operates in secretive places, communicates in code, and took one for the team.

Now that's some funny stuff, I don't care who you are. And if it has to be explained, the explainer has a dirty mind, not the poster :)
