I genuinely think that NetEnt is the most innovative IMPO and actually comes up with bright and brilliant themes for their slots. MG runs out of ideas quickly and adds old features to new slots. Williams also just creates a lot of the same slots with different graphics.

On the other hand - you have to weigh the overall look, feel and payouts on slots and that's where NetEnt loses horribly. Their new slots whilst brilliant in design are sadly - for me - nothing short of a rip-off. I still play more NetEnt (DOA) than I play anything else...Everything else I try 90% of the time with 'New' is a dismal failure and a wallet munching frustrating experience.

I've had some insight into how their new games perform and they go something like this per day (RTP)... 110%, 50%, 35%, 90%, 40%, 55%. 160% etc... Although the Slots end up paying near their TRTP, the design is ensured to frustrate you more often and ensure you don't go back to play their garbage or get significantly ahead. Anyways... Not like ever commenting on the subject will change their stance on design.

Nate

Totally agreed, Nate. IMO, netent need to investigate its RNG rahter than slots. We all see BDBA and reel steal, how similar the pay tables are designed but how differently they behaved...

Honey, I live in Alabama. (anyone remember Bacchus?? LOL) I doubt we'll ever see any sort of gambling legalized here. It's eeee-ville you see.

I am truly sorry Mousey.:( On the bright side I bet you can get great barbecue there? I would kill for a decent barbecue pulled pork sandwich or spare ribs. They are truly dismal where I am:D

Hey KK, what dyou mean by WMS slots not being "truly random"? Whats the background on this?
MY definition of "Truly Random" is a slot which has fixed reel-strips and on every spin each position on each reel has an exactly equal chance of landing on win-line 1. OR a weighted slot which is not compensated in any way based on previous pay-outs.

IMHO WMS slots do not work like this, hence my comment. They are still random, but in a different way. Some players might not think this makes any difference, but personally it makes me a little uneasy and reduces my enjoyment of playing the games.

Surprising to see no votes for Rival as I believe they do have some very good games with some inventive bonus features, Spy Game and Jaques Pot come to mind. I'm thinking that how the operations are managed may be influencing the voting to a certain extent.
I am equally surprised given the number of USA members here. For countries who can play all brands, I'm not surprised that no-one voted Rival (even I rate them 3rd best behind NetEnt & MG). But for USA players with limited choices I would have thought Rival are at least as good, if not better, than their competition in that region.

I voted for Netent, I've had my biggest cash-out on Netent and quite a few decent hits recently. They also have fantastic graphics.

I'd say Play N Go comes in a very close second, I love these slots the features frequently return something decent which makes them a little harder to hit but I cannot stand slots that constantly dish out low paying features, I mean whats the point in playing if the aim is to hit the feature but it rarely returns anything to be excited about? I'd really like to see Play N Go add some new slots to their portfolio - Lady of Fortune (one of their newer slots) is an awesome game and reminds me a little of those IGT Super Stacks slots.

Then PT comes third, I've hit some awesome wins on their slots, with Penguin Vacation being the nicest to me.

I chose MGS because it's the only software where, I've won insane amounts of cash. Albeit I've done my nuts too. Though, I've played other brands, I've never turned $10 into $3K or had similar amazing sessions on any other brand, other than MGS  Plus, all the MGS casinos I've played, pay you out in full, no weekly withdrawal limits!

Unfortunately times have changed and Microgaming allow some dedicated licences to restrict players to 5k a week or less and others to restrict withdraws on winnings that are more than 5x accumulated deposits. That's more indicative of an amusement arcade than a casino IMO.

mg games without a doubt, shame the software client is so dreadfully bad.
I guess you are playing their "Flash" versions?
I nearly always use a Download casino for MG and very rarely have any problems. So if you ONLY want to play MG games (without having the option to "mix-n-match" with other brands) - I recommend you go that route.

Can't believe Netent get so many votes...:eek:

I voted WMS,by far most enjoyable for me.
A good second is Novomatic and third would be MGS for me.

I like Aristocrat too by the way but not many available to play online.

IGT
RTG
Netent

Meh,not my cup of tea.

Netent

I voted Netent because
... but if you were told that you could only play the online games by one developer from now on, which would you pick?

Which is not really the same as 'Who makes the best online slots?'

I like Play&Go and IGT software, but I would choose Netent for variety if I could only play one brand.

MrGreen and VeraJohn also have Bally slots. I like 'em a lot but I struggle to remember the names. They all seem to have the word 'Cash' in them.

Personally, I also like Play 'N Go - whoever it was who said something like "they take the great features of other games and give them good graphics" on this thread was spot on. That's exactly what they do.

It's interesting how times changed. A decade or so ago, people would have been saying 'why aren't Cryptologic or Boss Media included?'. Now, it's 'you've missed NetEnt'. It will be intriguing to see what happens in the next 10 years.

i do not know...
This days both our leaders mg and netent making shit...
Novomatic making something interesting, but not great.
Aristocrat games good, but too outdated, graphic is sucks.
Wms good, but i did not play them a lot.
I will not choose, nowadays they just make slots to take players money. Shame, stupid. But looks like it works.
But in my 5+ years experience, netent slots is amazing. They was. Few years ago. Now they not.

Hombert all slots are designed to take your money. Some just faster than others:D

So far released afaik: Cash Wave, Tiger Treasures, Cash Wizard, Pharaohs Dream, Cash Spin, Chimney Stacks, Hot Shot, Quick Hit Platinum + Wild version, Big Vegas, Cupid & Psyche, Mayan Treasures, Wild Huskies, Havana Cabana, Lady Robin Hood, Mayan Treasures and Morocco.

I'm one of less than a double handful voted for Playtech. Maybe it's because I run on an old and limited computer, but download Playtech plays great on my computer. I'm more likely to play in freemode than other softwares because the games look good and play well. There is a lot of variety, and a lot of the games have scores that really increase excitement.

I actually deposit way more on MG, and download clients mostly work well. I'm less impressed on flash versions or Quickfire.

But a bored evening, Playtech fun mode is more fun IMO.

Netent has some great games, but not the stable of great games that Playtech or MG offers. Netent does seem to present new offerings though that aren't just clones or knock-offs of existing games though.

This is the one big thing that stuck out to me about this poll: less than 4% voted Playtech. I think their games look the best of all the developers and they are often innovative too but I just have this psychological thing where I think that the first session will always be the best and it's downhill from there.

I don't think this poll is necessarily great news for the UK bookies though LOL. They pretty much all switched to Playtech!

You see, I play on just the Flash versions :D I can't be arsed to download 500 terrabytes of games I don't want LOL so for the last X years I have played Flash. Quickfire has a tendency to run too slow for me so I tend to stick to the 'Game Assists' servers.

Agreed. That's the downside to MG. Too much came along over the past 3 years or so and a lot of it was just clones and pap. They have some fantastic games but unless you know them, or get lucky, it could take a new player a long time to realise.

If all members could pick 3 I think that the result would be a lot different. I think that many HATE NetEnt and you also see some who never will touch MGS, Rival or RTG. Playtech is more like "a good option" for many players. At least for me.

Probably their easy turnkey solution with underpaid workers in the Philippines... ;) Even if Ladbrokes lose some players the result might be better because of lower cost.

That sounds like me :D

I`m a big Netent fan.
But I play videoslots casino since last week and they don`t have Netent. I tried some of the new MG games and I have to say that they are not bad, especially GWG II, Battlestar Galactica and Lucky Koi.
And I found my love for Rival games. Only problem here are the casinos:D.

To answer the question, if there would be only one provider left I would choose NetEnt:)
