There seems to be a unifying theme with my vegetables...too much topless gardening, you think?

Cool huh

Cindy:D

yeah that IS cool - there was a guy I read about awhile back who was growing square watermelons too - he put them in boxes when they were small and then they just grew into the corners with flat sides. Not sure what the point was...I suppose it would keep them from rolling around in the back of your truck...?

Damnit, I thought you were going to talk about how crappy your garden was this year so I didn't feel like crap that my garden sucked!!!!

We did only peppers and cucumbers (first time gardener here) and we had so much rain in Massachusetts that even farmers weren't doing good with their crops.

My pepper plants grew to about 1 foot :( and when the peppers (if you wanna call them that) grew the whole plant would tip over...lol...so we had mini peppers and just about 1/2 dozen cucumbers.

Lets hope next year will be better!!! And maybe look like some of your pictures. :lolsign:

lol....if it makes you feel any better my garden sucked this year also - I do a container garden and it's usually pretty good but this year our spring was too cold and we didn't have much sun til too late in the year to do anything. Then there was a drought so the big time farmers and ranchers got screwed too. My zucchini plant was absolutely covered with blooms but I didn't get a single zucchini this year. The cucumbers were deformed, the herbs got mold - even the stupid onions didn't do anything. Basically the only thing that did ok this year was the tomatoes. At least the veggies I DID get were entertaining, that's something I guess!

If y'all are liking these you should check out this blog. loads of cool veggie pics. Not sure which is my fave, but probably the 'buddah' pears or the 'mickey mouse' pumpkins (Is that a pumpkin??) :)

(Is that a pumpkin??) :)

It can't be - pumpkins don't grow on trees, they do vines on the ground. I'm not sure what it is...?

I like the bunny tomato! :) lol, doesn't it look like we're being mooned from the bottom right of this pic too?
