What the hell has happened to WMS?

Yeah that's it! My memory is bad but that does sound right. 10x wagering is really low especially in today's day and age where 25x d+b seems to be the norm. Even if the games had slightly less RTP I found the bonuses fairly generous.

I think casino's want to make more revenue and a longer play time, so they change slots, gameplay and that sort of stuff. WMS is still the king in favor of games offering.

I see a lot of SG games vans on the road as they maintain a lot of the bookmaker terminals.

They also produce the scratchcards for the U.K lottery so they are probably making a fortune from all this alone without actually bothering to develop decent slots.

I agree aswell, and for me WMS was always my go to slots (before BTG came on the scene). As stated above the autoplay button removal makes any slot a nightmare to play for very long, but i thught that was done because of new UK Gambling Laws? I never understoood why some games autoplay button were removed and others remained?
Bruce Lee, Monte, Rhino were fantastic games, to be fair i do still give Bruce Lee a bash when i can as in the past i managed about 10 double bonuses on it which was super lucky looking back.

Jesus you were super lucky. I had two in my life and I play that a lot...

Yeah i know it was quite an amazing run on Bruce Lee, all happaned in the same year aswell, to be fair though i never managed a double with the higher paying symbols on the left the blue pots was the best, most the time it was the swords and knives . I did once hit it on video slots after getting 5 free spins and winning about 90p and i had three spins on Bruce Lee and in it came. Unbelievable. THats slots though isn't it, never know whats going to happen next

I think WMS exists now in name only; producers and software experts make the games what they are, and are the individuals responsible for raging rhino and monte etc.. still working at WMS and able to make the games they want ?

To me SG, for all their huge resources, have not added any value to WMS, the old games are way better than the newer SG/WMS slots, and they don't seem to care.

I know boycotts will never be promoted here, but I wish everyone would not play any SG/WMS title for say a month until they bring back the autoplay function, I think a concerted consumer action is the only thing that will motivate the casinos to instruct SG to sort that out.

Also recently I've noticed the spin button on games like rhino sticks, so you can't action a new spin until the colour changes, probably only adds a half a second to 1 or 2 seconds wait at most, but it's bloody annoying

I don't know if they've sneeked it in as some sort of responsible gambling measure to slow down the average number of spins you can play in an hour. It's a bit like the server is unavailable and its waiting, but I can't believe the server would drop that often as its happening.

2 for you and about 10 for the other. I also played Bruce Lee a hell of a lot as well. from 0.60spins - 1.20 spins and I have never ever ever had the double trigger. I came close sooo many times. Too many to count. But it is what it is. One day surely I will finally get them and the first 4 symbols will be at least 2 or 4 wilds then the 3 scatters. Well I dream anyway :p

And then just to add.

Yes I too noticed the new html5 versions of the WMS slots and it was mainly on Ruby Slippers you notice it the most. I am amazed others didnt mention that slot in this thread lol. But the images of the characters now look soo bad and blurry and strange looking. And yes also they made it so we see what we won before the actual feature ends. I always hated slots that did that.

Maybe if there was a WMS rep on this forum, maybe someone could maybe get in touch with them and let them know about this thread and lets see if they will take on board what we have said and bring back Autoplay and fix the html5 versions so we do not see what we won before the feature ends. Also to fix the weird looking images as well of the characters lol :D

I was never a big fan of WMS, even at the best of times.
I do remember many a thread in my early CM days where many people here would rave about WMS slots.
But for some reason, I just could not share that enthusiasm.
Games like Bruce Lee, Montezuma, Ruby Slippers just seemed to leave me with that buyers remorse feeling.

Rhino was probably the only game by WMS that I would play with any regularity.
And for a while, it was undoubtedly my favourite slot....by any provider.

Then the HTML5 "makeover" happened....now I hardly ever play Rhino.
And that is despite doing fairly well on it since I ended my 10 month break from playing it.

For the most part, I'm not one to buy into the tinfoiling theories, but if there is one game where I am convinced that changes were made to the game for the worst, then Rhino is that game.

That said, I don't think the RTP has been altered at all. Just the variance. I now firmly believe it has gone from being HV to VHV.

I know that many here (quite rightly so and I too am one of them) believe that the likes of NextGen, Netent and MG have lost their way.
The thing is, I still find myself playing MG 243 ways quite regularly. And I still occasionally play some of the Netent slots, like Wild Turkey and the turd.
But WMS? I'll barely average one session of Rhino per month.
And as for NextGen (whom I always rated higher than WMS), the fact that they are now linked to SG has only served to make me avoid them like a barge pole. I cannot remember for the life of me the last time I even tried 300 Shields or Gorilla Go Wild.

I have a fond spot for gorilla go wild, having once got a retrigger on the 2nd bonus with sticky wilds, 20 spins paid about £220 at 30p stake.

not sure about rhino being changed, played it a lot recently, one thing that seems to happen a lot now is dry spells of 500+ spins with no bonus, this used to happen rarely before. I wonder if they've distributed the diamonds differently.

something dazza mentioned in one of his rhino vids yonks ago was if the 9's and 10's go missing you're going to struggle and he was right as that happened the other day, took a while for it to dawn on me..but then 'there's been no 10 wins for ages!'

my other, tin foil, theory is less people play it now so it can't or won't pay out till it's taken enough

It was obviously lucky but at the same time weirdly it was also quite unlucky as i usually played this game on stakes of 0.60/0.90 or 1.20 spins and believe it or not all except one of the double triggers hit when was on a 30p stake even though i probably only spun at that stake about 20% of the time at the most. The one that hit on 60p was on a bonus wagering which most of the 1000x that it paid got wittled away during wagering!
