You could argue that the word 'family' traditionally meant a status reached when a couple had children, thus becoming a family, or pregnancy meant the woman 'was in the family way' which is an old term I'm sure we've all heard. Couple-Children-Family-Grandkids etc. I think you're omitting to mention 'only males and females make children' which is still as far as I know biologically correct. Children, it's commonly accepted, are components of a family otherwise you're simply a couple.

I would like to see a distinction in debate between traditional family and hybrid family - hybrid being one where kids were added BEFORE a same-sex partnership began, or after it began if adopted (or purchased like Pitt and Jolie did) or created by donors (like the two girly piglets would need to create a hybrid family.)

Children aren't a right and never have been.

It's OK to tell kids of say 2-5 that babies are born when 'mummy and daddy love each other'. In childish terms. Now try to explain to them at that age about 'mummy and mummy making babies when they love each other'...... I have no time either for the straight couples/people you describe that are at fault. The story of the boy starved and fed salt during the lockdown was sickening and made a very strong case for bringing back the rope.

Not sure I am in such a small minority as you believe on this subject, i.e. gay adoption or the surrogate thing.

But certainly the state/authorities are on your side of the argument, and support these practices.

But that is where you are wrong, that is not what is happening. No one is jamming anything down anyone's throats. It is more about the fact that 2 moms or 2 dads should be the same as a mum and dad. That is the whole point, I am glad the world has changed a lot and peoples views have too, but it was this thread that made me break my silence and forced me to speak my mind.

I mean the way I see it going back to my original post was this, look at it like this, what if in a world all those centuries ago. It was always known that family's could be 2 mums/2 dads/1 mum and 1 dad............... so you see it should not matter. What matters actually is that the child is loved and grows up in a happy home.

I have said my points now, I do not really know what else to say without maybe upsetting some people.

A family is made when you meet the person you love, that is if you believe in love. Some people do not believe in love.

That's just it though - it's certainly not a 'small minority' despite the massive indoctrination effort. We need to get this straight (no pun...) - it's a small minority that dare to speak out from a large majority...

With the stifling of debate and cancel culture very quickly it leads to the wrong picture being painted so many people actually believe this myth, the fallacy, the propaganda.

I do agree that there certainly is a large number of straight couples that aren't fit to be called parents. Your example is kinda like a 'Vicky Pollard' type but they do exist, in large numbers.
