What is going on with Neteller?

At the risk of starting yet another thread about Neteller, I am wondering what the heck is going on with them? I have a VIP Neteller account, and I have noticed that my Instacash deposits are taking longer and longer to clear my account. They usually clear my bank within 24-48 hours, but then they sit forever until they clear my Neteller account.

Most recently I made a couple of large Instacash deposits on 11/8 (total of $5500). They cleared my bank on 11/10, but they are still sitting in pending status at Neteller as of 11/17. 9 days (and still counting) to clear an electronic transaction? That is simply not acceptable.

I've sent a couple of e-mails to Neteller, but have not gotten any response. So much for being a VIP.

Anyone else having this same problem?

The pendings stay for 3-5 days after it hits your bank usually and is held against any withdrawal requested until the bank clears it with Neteller. Neteller cannot clear it until the bank notifies them it has been cleared.

Maybe so, but I have been doing Instacash deposits for years, and up until recently, it has almost always taken a total of 1-2 days to clear my bank, and another 2-3 days to clear my Neteller account (total of 3-5 days from start to finish). On the odd rare occassion, it has taken as long as 7 days. It has been 9 days now, and that seems excessive to me, and is longer than I have ever experienced.

Even if the delay was on my bank's end in notifying Neteller that the deposits have cleared, as a VIP account holder (whatever that means), I would expect them to at least respond to my e-mails and let me know.

Am I being unreasonable? Here is my most recent e-mail trail:

It has now been 10 days, and this is my 3rd e-mail with no response. I am sending this e-mail to a different e-mail address in hopes that someone will actually read it and respond.

I have a substantial amount of money that I would like to move from my Neteller account to my regular bank account, but it is tied up because of the uncleared Instacash deposits (see below).

I really need someone to respond and let me know what is going on, and when I can expect my deposits to clear.

I am being reasonable, but again, as a VIP account holder I expect to at least receive an explanation as to why my deposits have not cleared, and why I have not received a response to my previous e-mails.

Thank you.

It has now been 9 days (7 business days), and my Instacash deposits made on11/8 still have not cleared my Neteller account.

Also, I have not gotten a response to my original e-mail sent almost 24 hours ago.

As a VIP account holder, I expect better service than this. I am simply asking for an explanation as to why there are suddenly substantial delays in clearing my Instacash deposits. Your own guidelines (on your website) state that it should take 4-5 business days.

I would appreciate a response.

Thank you.

I have a VIP account (account # xxxxxxxxxx)

Ive noticed that over the last few weeks, Instacash deposits have taken longer and longer to clear. I made 2 deposits on 11/8, they cleared my bank on 11/10, and they are still not showing as cleared in my Neteller account as of 11/16.

8 days to clear an electronic transaction is a very long time. Is there a problem? Should I expect this to be the norm in the future?

Looking forward to your response.

They are taking longer as I see it as well. I would highly suggest making a phone call to them. It seems I get better results when I call.

Good luck! Mine just cleared after more than 5 days. Finally was able to get my money out of my reach.

Final update (hopefully). When I sent the e-mail to the PR Department vs regular support I got a reply in less than 2 hours. That's pretty impressive, especially considering I sent it this morning (Saturday).

They apologized and said that the delay was due to the banking holiday last week, and that my deposits would clear on Monday. Even with the holiday, I still think that is a long time (it will have been a total of 12 days), but I'll be willing to chalk this up to an odd fluke and move on as long as the deposits do actually clear on Monday.

My deposits are going on 9 days and counting. I don't care if there is a holiday or not. My first Instacash transaction was on the 17th. That one at least should have cleared prior to the holiday.

I spoke with live help last night and they told me too Monday or Tuesday they would clear. Neteller InstaCash will no longer be my primary form of funding. I will use my debit card which will limit my play since they don't allow me as much as Neteller does. One way or another I will begin to curb this addicton.

Suppose in the long run Neteller irritating the hell out of me is a good thing.

Re

My bank has stopped taking neteller a long time ago. I use instadebit, I like it because there are no fees when I deposit , and they clear a lot faster than neteller.

I use InstaDebit too and I agree they are much faster than Neteller. Unfortunately, the casinos I prefer don't take Instadebit. I never fund my Neteller or Instadebit accounts. I always let the merchant pay my fees. They are going to take most of my money in the long run so they should pay for the privilege. :D

Also, many casinos won't send my withdrawals to InstaDebit even if I used them to fund my account. One casino tried to send a part of my withdrawal to InstaDebit and it has never been found. Still working on it.

I was referring to Neteller with the fees. So far I have received one withdrawal to Instadebit. The second one failed or is in limbo. The casino insists they sent it as an eCheck although their email specifically says it went to InstaDebit. Either way I don't have it.
