It doesn't seem to matter on what site I play them on, or what game I play, there are problems.
The games take ages to load.
Then EACH spin can take between 10 and 20 seconds to complete.
The reels just spin and spin and spin, or judder about, until eventually stopping.
They are absolute agony to play, and seem to be getting worse.
I've played slots from other providers on the same sites, and they work fine. So it can't be a problem with the site's servers or my broadband, it's only happens with the IGT one's.
I'm ready to give up on them

All bar a handful of IGT's games run from central servers (or at least, they used to and I assume they still do) so it could make sense if one was slow they all might be. One exception is some versions of Cleopatra. Try

and see if works better...if it does it is probably IGT's server and possibly a temporary glitch and if it's as slow I'm pretty sure it's something at your end/ISP.

I just tried Diamond Queen, Davinci and Pharaohs Fortune and they are running fine here for me and that version of Cleo flies here :)

That version of cleopatra works fine. i was mainly having problems with Capt Quid and the new monopoly game on the ladbrokes site tonight. but the same problem on other sites previously. I'm not sure if it's a temporary glitch though, it seems to have been going on for months, and getting worse. maybe it's time they invested in some new servers, lol

I have about 40 free IGT slots on my site. You can try those, actually you'd or anyone else be doing me a favor since I can't test them anymore even through a proxy ip. It been months since I even looked at them.

Wish I could play Cleo II.

I have heard they are better played in something other then Chrome...

I would agree with that. I've been playing IGT slots for some time and to be honest the problems seem to be far less than they used to be, in particular the frustrating spinning and spinning until either there's a result or an error message. Grosvenor used to be the worst for that, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night when the server was busy. The site was down for a short while for maintenance and since then, no problems at all, coincidence??

Get Minted has always been fine, Betfred generally ok, but sometimes can be slow, but this is rare. I've never had any major problems loading, though sometimes Pharaoh's Fortune has to be reloaded before you can get in.

I use Internet Explorer and when I was having the difficulties was recommended to use Google Chrome, though I found this worse with the reels "sticking" as opposed to spinning and spinning, so I stick to IE.

I've had on and off problems with IGT slots at Sky Vegas, although I tend to play at what would probably be 'peak hours' so put it down to overloaded servers since I assume they all talk back to central servers, same as WMS slots which ran like shit at most casinos when they were initially rolled out beyond Jackpot Party.

One night the IGT slots at Sky Vegas were so bad (reels spinning for ages, time outs, server errors) I just withdrew my balance and binned the session off - that was a Saturday night though.

If they're getting worse instead of better then that's quite alarming!

I play them at BetVictor. During the day the waits for connection per spin are almost intolerable.
I persist because i like the slots and the features can be real thrillrides.
The connection seems to run a little smoother in the early hours.

There certainly seems to be a correlation between level of activity and speed of spin.

Having said all that I only really play IGT slots as I like the games and the bonuses can be great (when they come along as there can be long periods between them being triggered!)

Ladbrokes was awful last night with the reels "juddering" and spinning round and round with no conclusion when connection to the server was lost meaning that I had to come out of the game and refresh regularly.
To make matters worse when I rang customer service to report this I was told, after being passed from pillar to post for 20 minutes, the usual "clear your history and cookies" even though every other IGT games at other casinos were playing fine before (and after)

In the end I gave up and withdrew my balance.

Goodbye IGT

So... After some time away from IGT slots. I tried to play at ladbrokes.com tonight and they're even worse now than ever.

They've become totally unplayable.

During 15 minutes of play I had to logout of the game and reload 7 times. After a reload the first one or two spins were fine, then each spin started taking longer and longer to complete, until the reels were just spinning and juddering about.

Do IGT really expect customers to put up with this level of service???

Well this is one customer they've lost, and I'm sure there'll be plenty more 'voting with their feet'

I'll be sticking to microgaming from now on
