We just recently moved to Georgia and I am trying to find out if this is one of the banned states..

I think you SHOULD be ok, however, there is obviously a vague gray area with all the United States. Here are the states that some casinos don't like messing with... New Jersey, Louisiana, Missouri, New York, Kentucky, Washington State and Maryland

The list that did the round post-UIGEA was:

Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Wisconsin

That may have changed by now. Washington is an odd one - like ksb11 says it often get's included yet I think they actually have a law now that legitises it. Still, that's irrelevant if you live in Georgia

Back when I was a lowly support agent for Sportsbook.com we always used to say: ''If you're unsure about the legality of online gaming in your area please consult with your local authority prior to opening an account or placing any wagers''. I often wonder if anyone did, and what the reply they got was.

I'd love to see some letters to the local police station, feds, and any elected officials asking this question and the response received..... Any of you US players game for trying this?
