I know that RTG casinos cannot handle multiple currencies, and the only way to have versions in different currencies is to have different casinos. If this has been recently launched, then the random jackpots will all be started off at 1000, however, they should move up as players play. If no-one is playing yet, then they will not move. If YOU play, they should build at around 1% of wagers, so if you play 100 through one of the games, the RJ should increase by 1. It may be necessary to log out, and log back in again to get the value to refresh.
I have a BoDog account in dollars, and they have made no attempt to tell me about an option to change over to having UK Pounds.
They could well be running BoDog UK as a separate brand, having UK events on the sportsbook, instead of mainly US events which would be of less interest to UK punters.
EDIT.
I have just checked the UK site, and it still quotes US Dollars, so seems no different from the main site. I have also noticed signs that they might be questionable. They require an unusually intense level of documentation for credit card deposits, and don't even allow you to scan and send them in the usual way. You have to go through a laborious process to produce the required documents, including requirements in excess of simply a photo ID and back & front of the cards. They want the card statement as well! They will settle for a passport AND driver's licence, which means large numbers of players will not be able to comply.
On top of this, they insist that the whole bloody lot be FAXED to Antigua (they give the number, bot for US and International players). They also have terms that routinely allow them to confiscate deposits for a wide variety of activities they deem as "bonus abuse", as well as a $20 charge for each withdrawal beyond ONE per calendar month which is free. They are also "Neteller Haters", and have a 3x increase in wager requirement for any deposits.
I still have no real idea what this Neteller Hating is all about, this used to be the preferred method, but casinos are now trying to steer players away from Neteller, and in some cases Moneybookers also.
If they are going to pull some kind of stunt, I would rather it was in Dollars than UK Pounds, and if they leave GoneGambling I will uninstall BoDog altogether. I haven't had a problem getting paid as yet, but I am sure I can get a better deal. iNetBet do not appear to be "Neteller haters", and they pay just as fast.
