Weird issue on my new PC I bought.
So basically I am getting 1 long beep and 3 short beeps when I boot the computer up. I troubleshooted every step. Here is the real weird thing. I now have PINNED down exactly why the beeps is happening and it is totally weird and should not be doing it but it is.
So basically my Hisense TV I use as my Monitor for my PC & as my TV for my TiVo V6 Virgin Media box connected to my hdmi3 port and input source, then my PC is plugged into the only 1 slot on my TV that is 60hz HDMI port which is HDMI4 input source.
So long story short, after realizing after troubleshooting RAM and connections issues inside my base unit and eliminating them as the reasons. I then worked out and tested multiple times and this is indeed what is causing the damn beeps to happen.
So when I goto bed I always turn pc off and unplug it, cos of fire risk etc. So when I turn it on the next day, I sometimes put the pc on first before turning the TV display on and switching the source to HDMI4. So when I forget to do that it does the 1 long and 3 short beeps. I know this is the issue now cos I have now tested shutting down pc many many times on input source hdmi3 and input source hdmi4 is selected. When input source hdmi3 is selected I get the beeps, but when hdmi4 is selected I do not get the beeps..........
So can someone in the tech savvy mind set please explain to me why in the heck is this happening? it just makes no logical sense to me. I thought I was pretty tech savvy, but this has totally thrown me and made me speechless haha.
Thanks in advance
Rob
