How not to deal with what is actually very funny and should have made their office smile. When someone takes the time to send something so ridiculous but a play on words you have to respond equally.

Here's my response to the submittable.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Dear Mr Jones,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your request for a valuation in relation to the photo of the car you submitted.

However, after investigation we find it is not possible and these are for many reasons. We did note the car has no driver seat belt which makes it illegal for use on public roads, there are no indicators and no lights for use in the night, there is no windscreen and the tyres don’t conform to a standard acceptable in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and Outer Mongolia and therefore don’t conform to our standard terms and conditions, please visit our FAQ on the website for further details.

You should understand as a responsible company we take the safety of potential customers who purchase cars based upon our recommendations as paramount. It would be remiss of us to even contemplate the possible ramifications of promoting a car with the back wheels missing or damaged and with no engine.

We do however thank you for the time you took in contacting us and would welcome further submissions that meet the criteria of a roadworthy car, we would direct you to our FAQ on the website again for further details.

We have returned the photo because we believe the item does have some intrinsic value and suggest you try some “buy it now” or “bidding site” type site to give a more realistic value on the item that unfortunately we cannot.

We regard the request as answered and closed and cannot enter into any further communication; we humbly decline your business.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times.

Yours sincerely,

Andy, your response to the letter is why YOU and your company may create more of a positive and a HUGE financial return to you, rather than the lame, boring and , ' I gotta a stick up me a^&' response from this site..

You do know though that the letter in the original post looks like a complete fabrication from the company. I can't believe anyone in the profession would reply in those words and make use of indents to populate paragraphs.

Though for balance I have heard of a customer contact a certain Casino (not more than once) when their bonus play let's say being refused for breaking the terms and conditions of upping the stake levels strangely above the play they were at and blaming the cat for walking over the keyboard in their absence.

I'm sure we all believe this is possible?
