At 4.15 AM yes this morning i was awaken with my mobile ringing.
By the time i answered after being woken the person had gone.I looked at the number and of course it was an unknown number.
Of course that sets the worrying cap going especially when you have just been in a lovely dream....
Anyway of course after that i tossed and turned but could not get back to sleep.
Low and behold tonight at 8 pm another call from an unknown number again.
Hello this is Quatro Casino and you have been selected for a free 20 dollars but you must go on your computer just now deposit to receive this.
I kindly said thanks but no thanks and because the girl hardly spoke great English i did not ask her if it was the bloody casino ringing me at stupid hours.
I guess it was.
Anyway i hope nobody else has had this experience because if it was the casino it certainly is totally out of order and if i want to deposit i will deposit and not by a selling tactic.
At least majority of the casino's i play at have never rang and if they have they have at a decent time.
So a suggestion for any casino staff.If you are ringing a customer please consider where they live and the time difference.

I have been getting calls for the last few nights about 3am always 3 calls. Never get to the phone in time to give them a piece of my mind. If I find out its a casino there will be hell to pay (number starts with 866). I hate spam phone calls even more than spam mail or email. I haven't gotten a decent night sleep for 3 nights over this.:machinegu

To be fair, Club Gold rang me twice. First time was OK, we had a nice chat, I guess I was in good mood.
Second time I politely asked them not to call again. That was 2012, no calls since, so

Got two calls again in the wee hours. Second time I picked up and it was a casino. I can't remember which one now as I was half asleep at the time. I think it was a casino that I am not registered at so I wonder how they got my name and number? I told them don't call me again. We will see if that works.

April must be a crazy time for nuisance calls and e-mail crap.
The calls just are not on.This month ive had more e-mails so far than the whole of the year.Most are daily offers from desperate casino's and affiliates promoting the same damn offers.
At least with e-mail you can delete without opening but i do not like that someone i do not know has my e-mail addy.Are casino's allowed to pass this private information on to other parties.
I know there are some great casino's out there who play the game and look after customers the way they should but seem's to be more and more rogues everyday.

Check the options you have with your phone provider.

I get mine bundled with my internet and cable TV and they have a lot of options for dealing with this type of thing.

First thing I did was to block all calls where they come from unidentified sources, ie; no caller ID. If they don't want me to know who they are I don't want to talk to them. Second, if I get an offending call at an unacceptable time I can look at my caller ID log, say the next morning, and block that specific number. I just got tired of saying, "stop calling me" over and over again and took these steps and that was the end of it.

I turn my cell off, turn it on when I'm ready. I keep an unlisted land line, yes old school for any emergency call I need to get in the middle of the night from family or close friends.
