Virus - {Your AppName}

Start in safe mode, remove the program. Doesnt look like a virus, maybe trial version of something. Check latest installed software.

You could download the free versions of AdwCleaner and or Malwarebytes. They are specifically designed for the detection and removal of adware/spyware/trojans and many other derivatives of malware that you may, or may not, have inadvertently installed on your PC.

This isn't particularly a harmful virus but more of an advertising app, it will give you ads and then plant itself on other PC's and do the same (which is why it mentions 'idle resources'. It may not appear in your exe. files or programmes list as it's designed to hide its source code.

Hey KK, what OS are you running? As I might be able to make your Task Manager hunt easier :) Followed by how to find the program itself
Windows 10.

I ran Malwarebytes and it didn't seem to pick this app up as a virus, so I risked clicking on "don't use my resources" and it vanished.
Hopefully it was nothing malicious...

KK
