videoslots netent games not available to canadians?

So I thought VS was the cream of the crop but removing NetEnt with no heads up I am pissed and relize there no better than 32Red as I think its very poor CS. Its not about not able to play NetEnt games its about how they did it. I am at level 52 and only started to make deposits in Feb It shouldn't matter if you are at level 100 or level 1, a heads up like many you have said a email would of been nice.

They could see most of my play was NetEnt and I was playing them at time they were pulled and was like a slap in the face.

Also no comment from the rep or anyone from Videoslots is right down again poor customer service. I only now play 2 casinos 99.9 percent time VideoSlots rest 32Red. I bet you I deposit 20 or30Grand at VideoSlots this year.

To show them that I am not happy as a customer I will not make another deposit there for a month... maybe Im being silly some might think but Im tired of casinos not informing there players more. I hope maybe some of you will show your disappoint in words or follow me in no deposit for a month.

I have love this casino and been realy LOYAL and will return and still will be my n#1 casino but this is how I will let them know that they didnt handel this properly.

I also don't think its Canada but more with NetEnt and the recent deals there having in USA.

See you in a month VideoSlots after I play my cash back of coarse.

Deepsky

Level 1 or 51. You are correct shouldn't matter. But at level 51 and at 62 trophies must have built up at that level. So what happens to that? All gone.

Anyway you are right. Boycott for a while.

And I'm just wondering how small or big is their Canadian customer base.

The bright side is there is a new breed of game providers eg.,( Bigtimegaming, pragmatic and gaminator slots). They are more on the entertainment side than the making money side tho.

Pssst, I can still play (Ne) slots at TattlesCasino and Eyesnitchslots.com

I feel sorry for you Canadians not being able to play Netent at Videoslots (or most other casinos). Very disappointing that the reason for this appears to be political rather than anything else.

Quite surprised too that VS has not commented. Has anybody asked Dan why no notice was given or if some sort of goodwill gesture is going to given out for the rewards that were lost?

I replied to a email sent to me a couple days from VIP manager that they credit my account with free spins so I replied to email and said thanks as I always did but voice my opinion on removal of Netent slots.

He said it was a last minute decision and has informed there team that they need to inform in similar situations moving forward, I was surprise to get a reply so fast, thought it would be ignored like so many casinos do, so thanks Videoslots but still not depositing for a month.

Last minute or not an email should have gone out. Rizk/Guts and Trada were courteous enough to send out an email apologizing for the removal of Netent even though it was not their decision. I am extremely disappointed and defo not depositing here for quite some time to come. 99% of my gambling has been at Videoslots so now I will show them the same courtesy they have given me.

I guess NYX and Big Time Gaming will be next.

Well at least you got some sort of comment from someone.

Hey dan..I know you are busy and .I know you are reading this thread....or at least saw it when I first posted it. There's a bunch of us on here that feel somebody should have said something. And we have (had) all those trophies. all of them from all that money we spent at your casino. An acknowledgment would have been nice on this thread.

And I'm sure there are lots more Unhappy Canadians here and at your casino that are not reflected on this thread.

I need to reiterate that Net Entertainment didn't pull out of Canada. They never allowed Canadians to play their slots in the first place. Many casinos simply added their games in the Canadian versions of their casino without their permission. That's what the woman from Net Ent told me after GUTS removed Net Entertainment. Any casino that allows Canadians to play their slots is in violation.

It sucks for us but what can we do? The Provincial governments, not Ottawa, run the gambling here. They don't want their corruptly run cash cow's money flow to lessen, the bastards.

I'm not going to join shady casinos or anything. I only hope the corruption of OLG is exposed someday and we get a worthy provincial online casino.

Yes Brian you are absolutely right. It is controlled provincially thus the reason we cannot play the slots in B.C. Makes no sense at all. They give us Mickey Mouse casinos like playolg.ca. A bunch of greedy whoremongers.

I honestly cannot understand Dan's silence in this matter. No one here is blaming Videoslots -- we were just seeking answers. The Captain and Rachael immediately replied to our posts with a follow up email. Totally distasteful Videoslots. I am currently on Level 20 and have been striving to get to Level 21. F*** that!

That's it --I am done venting. Off I go and play at other accredited casinos. No more loyalty from me to any casino whatsoever. What the hell -- they can just go ahead and strip everything you have built up.

As the Captain would say .... over and out!

dont get it.

and yes you are right. no more loyalty and devotion to just one casino.

We're a grey market. The Maltese slot companies are not sure of the legalities in regards to offshore casinos. We are unique as each province has regulations so they would have to negotiate with 10 different groups. It's not like a Norway where it's one country or the U.K. or Australia where it's openly allowed and advertised.

With so many online casinos, Canadians can probably find a place to play Novomatic and WMS online but you risk being ripped off. Not worth it.

I have 5 casinos I visit but I don't wish to add more. Three of them are VSO, Leo Vegas (for table games) and PlayOLG.ca for a fix of Dragon's Temple or Prowling Panther.

Again, maybe it's time Marketplace looks into it. When online casino reviewers are claiming a 50% RTG at PlayOLG.ca, that's seriously fucked up. I actually believe it after videoing a session of Cash Spin. The Ontario government has a monopoly and refuses privatization of casinos. Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk tried to get one built and was blocked. Other than a few Native casinos, all Canadian casinos are owned by the provinces. I'm not sure about Caesars Windsor or Fallsview, though. Somebody else runs it but it's still the government who may pocket money from it.

Yeah, VSO should have let us know. I should have told people about the block on mobile but I didn't want to be the bearer of bad news. I also think their Level 21 requirement is a joke. $190,000 is a lot of money. Not everybody who gambles is a high roller.

Currently at Cashmio. But I play at Rizk (even with that annoying wheel), Trada, Leo Vegas, Betat and Casino Heroes (can still play Netent) primarily. A few others if the offers are good. I don't like playing at Trada as you have to withdraw to your bank account so I look for either Ecopayz or Instadebit casinos. Some times I take the reload bonus at Panda (can still play Netent there) but it's in U.S. funds and again you have to withdraw to your bank account (not that I've had the pleasure).

That's complete bullshit, it has been 2 years in the planning. The problem was that Videoslots didn't want to pull NetEnt from Canada and then see their competitors continue to allow Canadians to play NetEnt with NetEnt unwilling of unable to enforce their directive. Videoslots had always planned to do what NetEnt asked once they could be assured of a level playing field with the competitors also being forced to follow suit. Videoslots would also have known that once their NetEnt contract was up for renewal, they could be forced to remove NetEnt as this would be part of the renewed contract. This is a date they would have known from the time they signed the initial NetEnt contract.

There have been previous attempts by NetEnt to block Canadians, but they have failed because those casinos that pulled the games found they lost customers to those that hadn't, and so many simply defied NetEnt and put the games back on the menu for their Canadian players.

This is the latest attempt, but there is no guarantee it will stick if, as it seems, there are still casinos offering NetEnt to Canadians. In addition, we have the pirate games issue with NetEnt, who have to resort to legal whack-a-mole to shut them down because the pirate casinos operate from places like Curacao, who will not cooperate by shutting them down for using pirated products.

Any Canadian players finding a casino still offering them NetEnt games need to be careful they are not pirate copies that can be "rigged" by the casino, but one of the few casinos with genuine NetEnt games who are willing to defy the NetEnt directive rather than risk losing players.

But why block Canadians...

wonder why Dan cba to comment on the thread, pretty poor customer service especially considering he has read the thread. Theres no way they didn't get notice of this and couldn't have sent an email out, even if it was only a few hours before they were pulled. Hopefully you all get compensated for trophies etc you had built up.

But why block Canadians...

Purely a commercial decision on the part of NetEnt to tell it's licensees to block Canadians, and it's commercial decisions from the various licensees whether or not to obey that has created the confusion these past years. I recall Videoslots blocked Canadians from NetEnt a while back, but then unblocked them again because they were seeing their players jump ship to other casinos that didn't block Canadians from NetEnt, with NetEnt failing to do anything to enforce a level playing field by forcing a blanket block on all licensees.

Clearly, something has changed and Videoslots is complying with the NetEnt directive again, but I don't buy any of this "short notice" crap, they should have had ample time to manage the withdrawal of NetEnt from Canadian players and substitute Canadian friendly alternative promos and preservation of built up benefits.

Ok something feels strange about that Dan has not made a comment as yet. He just made a reply a hour ago to another thread but has avoided this completely. Why?

yes very unlike videoslots and dan. however i think that tomorrow when i get cashback i will withdraw it instead of playing it at VS.

i think we (as we canadians)should do that in my opinion. to be honest i feel like they are ignoring us.
which they are.

anyway so much for customer service. i suppose customer service is there when you don't need it.

yup my thoughts too. i might go there on a blue moon to play that playtech buffalo game, maybe those bigtime games too but thats about it.

Ugh this was the 1st of some bad news for me the last week, Bit of a rough time in life for me. :(.

Hope they can replace the 2 rewards that I had but the saving face for Videoslots is Canadian promos, races, freerolls just like Full tilt poker had years ago. Have to think of some other ideas but just a quick thought.

Oh somehow allow to play multiple games from same network like you were able to do with netent.

Hello everyone,

I want to apologize for not responding earlier to this thread. It is a bit sensitive since it is of a legal nature.

I'm sorry we didn't send out any information before the block. No good excuse for not doing that. We just missed it.

Anyone from Canada that was completing trophies in Netent games is welcome to contact me for some complimentary rewards. For any other questions regarding the topic you're welcome to send me a PM.

Once again I apologize for not being able to answer earlier

Br,

Daniel
