Banks have no idea so I will ask you guys and hopefully someone will know.
New laptop, go to use my newish but still verified cibc visa debit card like always on Videoslots.com. I enter amount and ccv # now a verify by visa box pops up to enter ccv, expiry, DOB.
Fine, have this once and awhile but just on new devices usually, one time thing. Well no matter how long me and my bank review my details etc it always say "your information does not match our records" when I fill in the three boxes.
I then go back to old laptop cause it must be in cache or knows its a "trusted" device i dunno how it works, but the purchase goes fine cause I don't get that verify box. So anyone know who runs that information is it Videoslots end??
I was on the phone with CiBC fraud etc for an hour, we registered card with verify by visa etc etc. Bank says its THE merchants issue, regardless I can't use new laptop make purchase till I can figure it out.
Never had an issue till this new card though, but it works at other merchants.... I don't get that verified box anywhere else either though.
Anyone know? Suggestion?
