Hello all, i deposited money to vera john today and i had some luck and was playing for a while, and during my play i collected these money bags to use them in free spins, i collected total 18 times, and i needed to deposit more to get the bonus, after i deposit again and come back to the game my money bags is at 0  can someone please tell me if this is correct or this is a error?

i would never deposit again to play it if i knew all my earned money bags would be gone  the game is called maid o money. i also want to note that one point i was ahead and wanted to stop but my money bags was pretty much so i continued to get even more, so this has to be a error or the worst slot IMO.

@ Op: I suggest you ask support at Vera&John BY EMAIL (not live chat) why the collected bags disappeared. The casino don't have a rep here (what I know of) and the only other way to recieve answers about this might be affiliates who have contact with the casino. I think that Rainmaker mentioned this slot from NexGen when they were added at Vera&John. :)

yes i have sent email to them since live chat don't nearly understand what i am saying. from the live chat "Jenny K: money never disappear from games"
so hopefully the email will be answered better than live chat.

LOL, I honestly belive I can do a better job as support.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have bugs in their games. Once I was playing a slot which name I can't remember. I got into the bonus game, finished the bonus game and then got an error. I restarted the game and I had to play the bonus game again. For some reason I won less on the second time than on the first time.

It took them a quite long time to investigate but they refunded me 60 euros.

Never heard of this slot before and the rules are very vague - but it's got CryptoLogic written all over it - I'll see what I can dig out...
I remember they had another slot not so long ago where you lost all the saved icons if you left the game

{Edit} Dug out the thread for that other "rip-off" Crypto game:

I was hoping to find more rules for Maid o' Money via Intercasino - but I can't see the game listed there...

Hello,

I am the Affiliate Director of VJAffiliates promoting Vera&John Casino.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with the game you played in our casino.

I have escalated this matter to our Casino Manager so he can investigate the matter with the involved game supplier.

I have also contacted our Support Manager to look into how come you did not get a more elaborated answer to your problem and will make sure your written answer will contain all the answers to your question as should be.

If you have any questions or are not satisfied with how this case evolves please do not hesitate to send me an e-mail franco.buffa@vjaffiliates.com or even cc me in your communication with Vera&John.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and I am sure that support will make it up to you somehow.

Hopefully we can set up an appointment with Bryan in Amsterdam (if he will be attending) and will try to get in Place so we will be easier to find on this forum in the future.

Have a nice weekend.

Franco

I think this game is created by NextGen gaming.

Reputable and well known Australian supplier that has created games like 300 Shields, Dolphin Reef, Merlin's Millions and many more.

Distributed by Microgaming through Quickfire, so they can be found in many accredited casinos.

Sounds like a bad slot.

There are many like this that reset things like the money bags collected towards a bonus if the player busts out and tried to deposit more to carry on for the bonus. It must also have a significant effect on the RTP as those collected bags form part of the RTP as they eventually trigger the bonus round. It is possible that a player making small deposits would never see their funds last long enough to get the bonus.

RTG have something different, and not quite so bad. If you run out of funds before reaching one of their "feature guarantee" rounds, you at least get a percentage chance to trigger the feature based on what you have so far when you bust out.

To get a fair game on this type of slot, you have to deposit enough and choose the stake carefully so that you are almost certain not to bust out before reaching the trigger threshold. Small depositors should avoid this type of game unless they want to see partially earned features confiscated all the time.

In effect, money DOES disappear from the game in the form of the RTP stemming from the bonus round.

So even connection problems cause you to lose those collected one

Presumably so, as this is even worse than just leaving a game to make a deposit. It's another reason to avoid such games, they are just not suited to the internet environment.

Microgaming have a few games like this, but you do NOT lose anything you have collected if you leave to redeposit. You can even come back the next month and find your partial collection intact.

Would you like to have a little side wager on that? :p

I don't have any evidence, except that I played at Intercasino (Crypto slots) for about 6 years and their slots have a very definite "feel and look" to them. This Maid o' Money slot behaves EXACTLY like most other Crypto slots - even the way they spin is distinctive.
If this is NextGen, then they have pinched Crypto's head of slot design!

I am in touch with NextGen's marketing manager - I think I'll ask him...!

{Edit} No more bets please!
NextGen have admitted responsibility.
Now I'll ask them about this issue...

Oh man wish I had read about this slot here before playing it !!!

Had €23 in my account from affilate payment. And saw this new slot looking interesting so took it for a ride. Went quite well had winnings small ones up and down. And triggered free spins without having collecting moneybags. But with €0.50 bet i got it. It put €2 in the feature. I won €12 alone on money bags. And total of almost €14.
I got balance up to almost €40 and thought lets have another go with it. I had collected €6,75 total when balance went low went out of slot and bit after into it again. WHAT???? balance suddenly showing 0,00€:mad::mad:

Not happy about this on livechat now as we speak. Would like mine looked into as well please.

And yes live chat support certainly has no clue about video slots oh my......

I though they at least knew about different slots and they contain features like the one in Maid O Money...

Oh well just very frustrated long hard day at work and then this......Glad I searched for this now in google lol.....

Hope this gets sorted. As potential is very big as money bags seems to come quite often in free spins....

But as they say Malfunction voids all play huh?

Tried that couple years ago with a video slots at Microgaming casino. Where i was cheated of maybe big wins as had a high stake and re triggered a feature twice but never got those extra spins. Slot i think was called something with Frederick. Think my big thread is here somewhere at Casinomeister. Just a shame when it happens when we are winnings how about the other way around?

Oh and just wanted to say as well this is nothing bad about Vera & John. Not their fault with this error. I am just thinking how can you compensate an error like that? It is almost impossible....

It is the game providers fault of course. But would it not also be the casino responsibility to have tests of slots before they are added into their fold? Or am I wrong here, not really sure how it is done out there :)

We don't have to mention Sky Vegas here that was a very bad one IMHO.

When you wrote this, didn't you even read the earlier posts? I wrote about Nextgen in the fourth post. Please, KK, read!

Sorry - was supposed to be somewhere else and NOT online when reading this thread (too fast)...
The NextGen guy is at GiGSE (presumably rubbing shoulders with CM ), but he has promised to get someone to look into this and come back to me/us.

Vera John reply

Hi All

Thanks for bringing the matter of the bad slot experience to our attention. We have been looking into the matter from both our own perspective as well as brought the experience to NextGens Attention. We are waiting for their response as is.

We believe that it should be clear to all players what the conditions are. We have currently more than 8 different game suppliers where games are set up quite differently. Sticky bonus achivements like the ones in the debated NextGen game behave rather differently than the money-bags in Netents Robin Hood or the leveling up in IGT's Monopoly Plus.

The players that brought this to our attention should have been contacted by now and if outcome is not to your satisfaction then please PM me. Obviously we are not happy with the bad experience of the support either which we are addressing. Mostly we have very positive feedback of our support. We are natrually also looking into any player that played the game.

Now for the forum: What would be the best way of communicating to a player here from an operator perspective?

Should there be a pop-up when the game is launched if there is a sticky-bonus feature, explaining expiration (Session, numbers of hours after last spin or lifteme etc whatever the the gamesupplier has based the feature on)?

Maybe it is better not to have the game at all if the sticky bonuses are not valid for a long time?

would you be looking into the game rules to find this?

The problem with this slot is, what i have contributed to get those money bags disappear when i run out of money and get reset right after i close the game OR get disconnected, players feel cheated when this happens but most of people think it must be one kind of error. There is no slot out there these days that have this kind of game, lets say netent - robin hood, the chest are stored for ONE YEAR or MG slot IM where the bonus levels that are achieved stores forever.

For odd reason nextgen either screw it while making this slot or it was on purpose to wipe out people who don't start the game with 1000X bet.

Vera & John did contact me and credited my account with 5£ bonus, was kind of insulting to get credited this amount after all...

The problem is that expiration seems to take place in under a second. This is not even "session", let alone xx hours after last spin etc.

This is the internet, known for flaky connectivity at both ends for a variety of reasons. Instant expiration has no place here.

The other issue is a moral one, the operator is lining their pockets at the expense of players who have a less than 100% perfect internet connection. Worse, even those WITH a 100% connection seem to lose the collectables merely for a quick visit to the cashier.

No amount of warnings and pop-up messages are going to make this slot "fair". The game designers have produced a "turkey", and other than on April 1st, this game should not be offered.
