UseMyWallet - Safe or Not?

QuickTender (UseMyWallet) is the only method I use for depositing to casinos/poker rooms and the only method I use to withdraw to my bank.

I've been reading since early December, and I can't get a read on it. :what:

QT was down for a while with the CC deposits. Then it opened up at certain times of the day. Now it looks like it is back to normal. Now I read that banks are no longer accepting international transfers (my QT withdrawal would be that).

Does anyone absolutely know about the depositing/withdrawing problems for QuickTender and the USA?

I can deposit there....now I'm wondering if I deposit, win and go to withdraw, I can be 1) out of luck 2) arrested and out of luck 3) able to withdraw with no problem?

We are retired and have a small budget set aside for playing online. If we win, we withdraw the winnings to the bank, and keep the original deposit in QT. Makes for a nice weekend trip or a new fishing rod and reel. But even small, we don't want to deposit money to QT if we can't withdraw it.

So, does anyone have a verdict yet?

ask qt if they can transfer your $$ to you /your bank ?
if not ask casino if theyy can deliver you a check from inside the usa

please keep us posted

QuickTender

Well, I was able to deposit, but not until after 7PM EST. I would guess that they are still working "around" something with the banks and processors. Now, I just have to win and cashout to see if they will transfer to my bank.

I hope that I am a winner tonight!! Solve 2 questions: 1) Will QT be able to transfer to my bank and 2) Where am I taking the wife this next week? Its our anniversary...23 years. 23 years, 5 sons, and 9 grandchildren later and she still loves this big ol' lard of a redneck! ;)

Thanks for the replies. It always helps to gather information aforehand.

After some initial nervousness when EWX got shut down (fortunately none of my $$) for all e-Wallets, but then that dissipated.

I continue to use QT for deposits and withdrawals without an issue. While the limited hours of availability are an inconvenience, but still one source that is unniversally accepted. Or at least in MY universe of online casinos.

I asked QT if they've had any american banks refuse to accept their wires lately and got this back.

"Please be informed that the acceptance and support of an International Bank transaction depends on each bank separately. Unfortunately, we do not possess the list of American Banks not supporting international transactions. Please contact the bank regarding this matter."

I also asked for any info on EWX but they ignored that completely. Was worth a try.

QuickTender in Euros?

When I went to deposit tonight I got a message that said I would have my money deducted from my account in Euro funds and that I might notice a small difference in what was withdrawn on my bank and what was given to me in my account. Now what the hell is that about?

Needless to say, I didn't deposit. Is it different to my bank? Do they notice the euro exchange? If I deposit $80, will I get back only like $67? I'm really confused on this one. I don't know a thing about exchange units. I don't know if it draws attention to my bank account. Shoot, I just about feel stupid at this point. And really anxious about depositing with QT.

Can anyone help explain any of this to me?

I'd sure be much obliged.

I have had 4 successful withdrawals this week from 4 different sites into my QT account. (Its been a GOOD week, finally!!)

I also noticed today that the credit card featuring was "Open" earlier today. So I am wondering if the limited hours phase has passed?

All I can say is that things work smoothly for me with QT through as recently as this morning when I received w/d as expected from Villento. I received the full amount I had requested, no conversion to any other currency, or fees.

After I accumulate enough then I direct QT to wire/ACH to my bank. That wire out of QT to my bank usually takes anywhere from 5-8 business days as I recall. That has a flat fee of $30 as I recall. The QT flat fee charge versus % that EWX charged was what made me decide to use QT instead of EWX.

I shouldn't ask this. I know I shouldn't. But I have to. What exactly did you supposedly buy on this island? :poke: If my bank called asking that (a kinda out-of-the-blue question), I'd probably get a bag packed and wait for the US Marshalls on the front porch. :o You had to have some kind of calm to handle that one.

When I asked support at QT the question I posed in the original post in this thread, this is the email I received a few minutes ago:

Thank you for contacting the QuickTender Help Desk.

Please be informed that some of our card processors are processing the transactions in EUR or GBP currency. However, please note that your QuickTender account will be credited in USD currency as usually. You will be informed before you confirm the deposit how much in EUR/GBP and USD you will be charged.

Also note that this is the banks internal policy if the charges will be displayed in USD or EUR currency, but no suspicions should arise.

The "no suspicions should arise" gave me pause. And using EUR/GBP makes me wonder if we, the US, are about to be phased out.

But I do like the fact they courteously and timely replied to me.

Meanwhile, I'm looking around online for a prepaid VISA or VISA gift card that I can use online with iNetBet, LuckyRed, or Jackpot Capital. iNetbet is offering some sort of gift card, but I'm not sure if I wanna buy anything on that island or not.

Yep...I'll gladly wait. We're just real careful about this stuff. Retired and our income is in that bank. I remember when I used to deposit at the MG casinos (before the mess), and once in a while the bank would call and check if I had bought this or that. The last time I used my credit/debit card to deposit directly to the casino, the bank rep called and mentioned ( in an onimous tone, I might add) :eek2: that the bank could put a hold on the account and all money within if they needed to investigate the charges. We didn't argue. We stopped using the card. Went to Netspend...they closed to gambling. Went to QT, and have been there since, and now the odd times we can deposit using the credit card, now this.

Anyone know what gift cards are accepted and allow the transactions at gambling sites? We love to play a little each month, but can't put the bank account to risk.

I used inetbets gift card option tonight. It also said it would be done in Euros, but there didn't seem to be an additional charge. It worked great, no charge for a card and what you are purchasing is a prepaid gift card made out to manager or employee at inetbet which is then instantly redeemed to your account. I use my netspend prepaid visa to fund this and usemywallet as well. I have had no problem with withdrawals being deposited into my regular account. However, my bank still lets me use my credit card online for international transactions. I also used usemywallet over the weekend, using my netspend prepaid visa, and I was charged an additional 86 cents over what I usually am charged. I am not sure yet who this money went to. However, at that time there was not anything said about it being in euros, but I was charged extra. Will have to check that out. Hope this helps. Good luck all

Thanks for letting me/us know about the iNetBet gift card option. I was told we couldn't use the Netspend card any longer for UseMyWallet transactions or gaming actions, so we just use it for sending money to any of our kids who need some extra. Good to know...I'll check out the gift card option today...thanks again gambler.

I went ahead and did a deposit with our bankcard through QT, and it went through just fine. Our bank advised it does international and they see no plans in changing it in the near future. It charged me about 40cents more than I had been paying for the processing fee, but it still beats the other fees out there.

About 10 days ago did a small deposit from my debit card and went through fine. Last Friday did it again but sat in pending. Then Sunday it was removed from pending and disappeared - must have been denied.

Funded through another credit card and it seemed to take.

Question?

I have been reading this thread to find out about "use my wallet". I would like to know if US players can still use it with master card. Does anyone know this info and where can I go to apply? Info would be be appreciated. Thanks

Use My wallet is Quick Tender, QT is by invitation only (from a casino). They don't take Master Card anymore. Your best bet would be one of the prepaid Visas. I'm sure one of the other members can recommend a good prepaid. There may be other threads about this too if you take the time to do a search...
