What's he getting so excited for, any money made will barely trickle down to where it's needed most, or what the general public would like it to be spent on, and secondly the US has the biggest domestic demands for those products so may as well keep it.

(Obviously some countries are in great need, but then that's been caused by starting this war in the first place)

There are plenty of countries that would rush for US oil, because they have no options now and Trump knows that. US and Iranian officials have met for the first time in nearly 50 years and apparently agreed on nothing. So it’ll be worth watching what happens if Hormuz stays limited. Oil tankers from the US take about 20 days to reach Europe.

Last week, the US took an Iran-linked vessel. Today, Iran took two of them - Italian and Greek owned. The US says it doesn't see this as a ceasefire violation since the ships aren't American or Israeli.

1. Stop Russian/Chinese SAM systems coming into the ports and any other exotic toys.
2. Economic warfare. Oil Wells will be capped this week or next at the latest, as Iranian oil storage will run out.

Do you know what that means?

For ammo, I'd say Russia has nothing to do with the strait. Everything from Russia comes across the Caspian Sea, where nobody can stick their nose into a ship. China uses the Silk Road railway - it runs across Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan and goes straight to Iran. It’s more than ten days quicker than going across the water. But both countries could also use planes. Good luck finding what's inside.

As for Iranian oil, I saw something on JordanDaily saying they can re-inject oil into depleted wells, fill up big tankers and keep them floating, or even use trains to move oil. Those are all bad options obviously, but better than capping the wells. Though there are plenty of anti-Iran stories out there that tell about worst-case scenarios as if they’re certain.

Iran's strategy seems to be to outlast American's willingness to keep oil prices rising and deal with global economic disruption. Using Trump's language - it may work and it may not work, lol..

One thing’s for sure is that war benefits nobody.
