It's also interesting how long those Gulf countries are going to keep allowing their oil facilities to get destroyed. If it weren't because of Israe/US, they would have stayed safe and sound and oil safely shipped to buyers.

Apparently there is crazy censorship in those countries so people don't see what Iran smashes and only read stories about "US is winning, etc" but some things still get through

With every Trump speech or interview with the press, the cringe and personal feelings of regret grow larger. He's now making George Bush Jnr look very good in comparison. The NK thread, hours and hours in total spent discussing, arguing and sticking up for this deceiver ffs!

I can just see some future sociologist or researcher look at forums from around 2016, and conclude "wow this Mack twat really got took in 🫨😆 but the other guy, HarryBkk, was much wiser and perceptive re DJT".

I have a feeling that Russia will give Trump an out with Iran in return for a deal over the Ukraine. Maybe even some sort of settlement that helps Palestine? The damage to American facilities and to Israel is far worse that we have got to know via the media. Trump lifted the oil sanctions on Russia already which will lift Russians worries overnight. And Trump/Israel must be desperate to end the conflict before they run out of missiles ect leaving them screwed going forward unless they use nukes. Which fecks up all countries near too.
And they have diplomats talking to each other.
I am just imagining the Zelenski meme's if it happens

I read that Putin is making 150 million a day on oil due to this war . Maybe he wouldn't mind the war going on a little bit longer. And its having an effect on Gulf countries trust in America with the shitshow theyre after involving them in . They might throw their lot in with Russia or China , could you blame them after this . Its mad how much a little country of 9 million people can control 98% of politicians and the president of a country with 380 million people. I'd be embarrassed if I was American . And in other news the Israeli soldiers who raped the Palestinian prisoner on camera, got their charges dropped today. Great country with great people 🤮🤮🤮

I think Russia would only trade anything with Trump if it's beneficial directly to them or at least both sides.

As for Iran, Russia and Iran have no military alliance obligating to defend the other if attacked, but they have a strategic partnership, similar to the one China has with Iran.

The optimal move for Iran is probably to keep hitting Gulf oil facilities to some extent. That would pressure those countries to demand the US leave regional military bases.

Why would they watch their oil refineries burn to the ground? It's billions in losses just because Israel/US decided to attack Iran.

Those countries rely on gas and oil exports for almost 100% of their economies. The Arab oil refineries are massive and easy targets. Hitting the right spot even with a drone can set them ablaze, and many are just across the sea from Iran.

Countries with their own energy supply don't care if Hormuz stays shut. Russia is one of them. If you can live on your own gas and oil and sell to others, you have no reason to want the strait open. The Arabs are essentially big competitors to them.

Probably one reason Trump lifted some oil sanctions on Russia is that most Asian countries, especially Japan, are in trouble. Another reason is to keep the public calm so there is no unrest. People don't want to see prices of everything going up because of these wars.

The USA offered those ,iddle east security in return for them having their military bases in their countries and them using the petro dollar then when it came to it they gave them no defence at all. They surely must feel betrayed?
BRICS must seem very tempting and was Gadaffi's gold backed Affrican currency not a bad idea after all?

It all seems like a huge mistake now for America on behalf of Israel. It is massively unpopular and has lost Trump and the Republicans the next election I am sure.I have never known them be in such a political mess and international laws now seem worthless.
What a world we are going to leave for our kids and grandkids?

I do not believe that Netanyahu is dead because I strongly suspect that Greta Thunberg wound be at the centre of consultations about taking over and she has just been spotted buying steak pie and chips along south shields seafront

Yes, and tons of ballistic missiles and rocket launchers pointed at South Korea. To me, North Korea looks like a country where most of the population is essentially an army lol...

Also, i reckon nobody goes near NK because they think Kim wouldn't care if the enemy country even existed on the map.

I usually watch cat and dog videos on X, and it often gets hard to tell what’s real because some clips are done very realistic. You only realize later that animals don’t naturally act or move like that.

I don't care at all whether Netanyahu is around or not, but some people seem obsessed with checking things to spot anything that doesn’t look right... :D

Hah… i find it funny that first he put out a deal to get tankers through for a “reasonable price.” Then every day he keeps telling stories that Iran is already smashed to pieces and that no one should believe anything else.

Now he’s asking allies to send their warships and help reopen the strait. It would be ironic if some “hero” country jumped in and ended up having their last ship blown up on an Iranian floating mine.

To put it bluntly, the US looks utterly ridiculous. Airports, hotels, and energy facilities in Gulf states get hit daily, the strait stays blocked for oil tankers tied to the US, Israel, and Europe. Those ships are now sitting in the Gulf and watching Iran-friendly tankers run through.

Analysts estimate up to $1.2 billion a day in lost oil export revenue.
