My interest in World politics was always just a passing one until I hit my 40's because my focus was on work rest and play even though it seemed obvious to me that a lot of it stunk. I couldn't thik of a more efficient and effective way of whittling down an over inflated workforce than to ask them to outline what they did last week. With a follow up message to provide some proof of that work.
There has been talk of names being on the books that are simply made up on behalf of Mafia/corruption and folk doing nothing in return for their wages.

Most reasonable people would jump right on any email that a CEO wrote asking for more information regarding their job, their duties, and the importance of that job to the organization.

The fact that so many have actually ignored the email from Trump/Musk for days on end only has 3 explanations:

1) Deliberately defying their supervisors, which in any employment contract is grounds for dismissal.

2) Those employees ignoring the email are not real and could be gaining access to sensitive info. So to terminate all who do not respond is to terminate all fake individuals in the government. If real people are too stupid to reply, they deserve to get axed just for being nobheads.

3) they are pulling in paychecks but are not actually doing any work, so are not looking at their emails. They, too deserve to be sacked as they are committing fraud by not doing their jobs as required by their contracts.

Unless someone is in the hospital or recuperating from a major event, there is no logical explanation for not answering the email. Their boss could always vouch for their authenticity.

That last bit 'of interest' is also the problem, no one's that interested in anything to do with starlink or rocketx. It doesn't really affect the man in the street, you have to prioritise your 'outrage energy' (as it were) so it will tend to go on things where you can see a negative effect on yourself or family down the line etc...

Musk getting this money into his company then allows him to grow the export side of starlink, that's also important to the US, so it's not all about just blindly gifting a billionaire more money imo.

Like Mack said above,I am not really interested in Tech stuff so unless a topic biatch slaps me in the face it would often fly over my head.
If I was American I would be politically homeless Mulvin. I think the two party system could do with a little proportional representation. I think the same with the UK.

It seems that the FAA systems are more than ready for an upgrade but it is very costly to run down such a big contract while introducing another one with a different company.
So if switching contracts is so expensive then I would have thought that Trump and Elon would stick to their DOGE principles of saving money and back off? There seems to be various guardrails that could prevent such a takeover so it is by far not a done deal.
But as with all big business it will also be about kick backs and who else will benefit.

One thing I have noticed with politics is that they often throw out a big change story long before it happens in order for people to get used to the story and the idea of the change because it softens the impact and backlash- if they are lucky.

I saw this earlier and initially found it funny he didn't know the difference. However on further inspection, it had nothing to do with transgenic mice and that was misinformation trying to make trump look bad which is just embarrassing he does enough on his own that its silly to make up things.

I THINK trump was supposed to be referencing the tests that were done where mice were given different amounts of testosterone to see how they physically changed and to check if there was a change in breast cancer risk in female mice.

I've also seen a small group in the left doing their own version of the "stop the steal" nutjobs from 2020, which is similarly embarrassing.

Yep its still bad and plain to see for anyone with a working brain. Whether trump knows and is saying it because it plays to his base - alot of the "waste" doge lists is seriously misconstrued so I think alot of the people know exactly what they are doing when they are tried to mislead people on what was actually done.

It's just very frustrating that people are proliferating the misinformation that it was transgenic simply because that makes trump look bad. Using reddit recently has been a pretty meh experience because there is so much anti-trump circlejerking its really cringe and getting quite annoying. My biggest question is why they are in such a rush to just cut stuff? If you are cutting medical funding, veteran funding, nuclear funding, shouldnt that be looked into and cross reference by professionals? It looks to me they are browsing headlines and making conclusions on that instead of reading information. There is clearly government waste and funding things they shouldnt be, relax, take your time and do it correctly.

I believe it's common for women with "low sexual desire" to be prescribed it during menopause. Gets ya horned up. There are probably some other occasions it gets prescribed other than "gender affirming care" aswell.
