The US didn't vote for Trump the person. Of course there were deep south morons that voted for the person but most reasonable people don't go down ridiculous rabbit holes and find paranoia due to lack of education and illiteracy. there are moderates who would never vote blue with a leader like Kamal and there are heavy right leaning individuals that bleed the red wall voting for policy. Inflation and cost of living increases set the stage for this outcome and the DNC failed their own moderates. Trump could have sat on stage having a proper public wank nevermind just deep throating a microphone but Kamala and the DNC were never going to swing this election. It was written in the sand long before the last couple of days how this was going to unfold.

Hopefully it's a term that does repair the economy and hopefully that will offset the expected disaster coming in the Scotus. the expected removal of women's rights is hopefully just hot air and the support for bullying nations is posturing.

A lot of economic illiterates out there that don't actually understand how tariffs work but perhaps it will lead to an increase in national manufacturing processes rather than more inflation. It is a policy that can have it's intended effect if implemented correctly. We'll see how that plays out.

Mostly just hope it's a quiet term that fixes a lot of the economic issues surrounding the world while avoiding all of the blustering bullshit the idiot in charge pretends to espouse.
