US Moneybookers

Did verification with OKpay to be able to play at 3Dice, only to find out today that I am not able to fund with cc.

3Dice support directed me to Moneybookers (Skrill). Opened account there, used that to fund Okpay and then get money to 3Dice.

Wasn't too painful. Now I have to make some money at 3Dice and try their new game.

All I know is that it worked for 3Dice. Have not tried it at any other casino so far. Will report back as I have other experiences.

The page says it is licensed in 42 states. I read a bit on the faq and of course using it for gambling is against the rules. "Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to receive payments to a Moneybookers Account in connection with gambling or gambling services such as sports betting, casino games and poker games."


Edited to add........I just tried it out at 3Dice. It worked. I tied it to a prepaid debit card.

I had no luck at 3 d however. Well I low rolled for a while but never got above my deposit. Uggg!

I recall seeing it as a withdrawal option at a rtg casino, don't recall which one right now.

Glad you guys are having luck, but I would proceed with caution. Unlike some of these fly-by-night e-wallets the US has been using for years, Moneybookers is a legitimate business that has a legal obligation to report its transactions to the Financial Services Authority of the United Kingdom (got this explained to me in-depth in an email I sent a few months back). The only reason it's working is because Moneybookers is seeing it as a transaction to OKPay. Using your Moneybookers account to fund a casino account directly would almost certainly be a one-way ticket to getting your account closed.

And this is just a guess, but I won't be surprised if this method doesn't last very long. I'm a bit shocked that 3Dice is even suggesting it, to be honest.

I'm gonna be cautious and the only way I'll fund it is with a prepaid card and I don't expect to use it except at 3D. I would advise others to use a prepaid card also.

Any online wallet makes me nervous these days.

That being said, the payment & funding issues are unconstitutional and a complete violation of our inalienable rights upon which this nation was founded.

I encourage every American who is active on this site to write their congressman, and the senators of their state to stop this madness. Now is the time, one year until the election.

No, but history documentaries strongly suggest that this is what gave birth to "the mob", and enabled it to rise to such a great power by expanding into other lucrative areas such as land casinos, and all off the back of income generated from the production and distribution of spirits.

Unfortunately, those in power don't remember those days either, and so think that they can enforce prohibition on the internet on an activity that is legal in much of the world, and even unregulated in parts. The "mob" in this case are the processors that have sprung up who are prepared to take whatever risks are needed in return for very substantial fees from operators. It would not be surprising if the "mob" have been running a good number of these processors, and have been bribing or threatening those who are tasked with putting a stop to it. They may even be behind the more unsavoury casinos that pop up, like Ministering Angel and Jackpots Heaven, along with a few of the RTG outfits that seem to rely on cheating players to make money.

I have even seen a documentary covering the tricky subject of whether drugs prohibition can ever win, and some were suggesting that instead there should be licensed outlets for recreational drugs in order to kill the illegal supply business through conventional "market forces", and thus end much of the crime it funds. Already "medicinal cannabis" is available in a few states, and it seems pretty easy to get the necessary "diagnosis" from a private "doctor" that gets you the card needed to be allowed to buy it - again covered in a recent TV documentary.


As for US Moneybookers, it only works because Moneybookers doesn't know what the big picture is. If it ever finds out, it will lock the account, trapping any money inside, and it will be near impossible for the player to get it back because they have caused Moneybookers to breach UIGEA through deception.

excellent advice that I agree with. Why would you let anyone hold YOUR money any longer than necessary to process a transaction. Win, cashout ---- win, cashout, etc.
