Hi all... and hope everyone had a stress free festivus!

Have not come across this situation before so hoping there will be some help out there.

Have played at 32red for a long time.... and also there sibling casinos. Have most often deposited via Poli direct banking. I played at Dash last week and won a decent amount.

I went to withdraw and found no option to withdraw via bank deposit/wire transfer. I queried this via chat and was assured that it would be rectified and to re-login and the option would be there. So I did... and it wasn't. Yakked again via chat and the op this time told me I had to submit credit card details or use Neteller etc. Sigh!!!

So I submitted a credit card then withdrew. Got an email from payments at 32red saying that since I used Poli they would use wire transfer to pay my winnings. However, they are asking that I submit these details via email... plus a statement from my bank confirming the bsb and account number.

I don't mind at all verifying who I am... but at least with a credit card one can blank out middle digits and security code. To provide all of my bank details including bank address, account number, bsb, swift... and a statement with my address... via email? Doesn't seem right.

I have asked if I can provide account and swift details via the casino software. Waiting to hear back.

As said never had this issue with 32red casino... or any other for that matter when I've used Poli.

Cheers

Never heard of this being done before to be honest, but I have never used Poli or bank wires for deposits or withdrawals.

But I would not stress to much about giving 32Red these details. They are very trustworthy and I am pretty sure no harm could be done with your banking and address info apart from deposits to your account. It's the same when you give it to ebay or any other site that requires payment via a bank deposit.

This could be so no mistake is made when they do the wire transfer and that its going to who it is meant to go to, no matter how much we check when putting in this info there is still human error.

I see your a fellow aussie, why not open up a Moneybookers (Skrill) or Neteller? payment to these are in less than 24hours. I personally use Neteller as I love the Debit card that comes with it, so when 32Red make the payment I am off shopping straight away

This issue has cropped up before with Aussies and Poli. Perhaps there is a wider issue involved.

It does seem odd that the eventual solution was to withdraw by wire transfer, which is what the OP wanted to do in the first place, but found the option had disappeared from the software.

It seems CS can't fix this, so have decided to do it manually. I think the OP's concern is sending all the info by email, rather than letting 32Red have it.

In the longer term, using an eWallet is simpler. Even if not used regularly, it would provide a back up option should the usual options fail to work.

Some of this info could be given over the phone, with only the statement going via email. Another option would be to send half in one email, and half in another, and do this over an encrypted WiFi from home. If it's webmail (hotmail for example), delete the information from "sent items" and "trashcan" as soon as 32Red confirm receipt, so that if anyone hacks the account, they won't find it. This is one of a few reasons I prefer POP email over a web based email, my sent items are stored on my PC, not their server.

Thanks matt and vinyl... i have heard from 32red and been given options. I did think it odd.

Should all be good tho hey...

I too plan to go shopping ... a decent UV pond filter. I built a pond and have fish and now the carp filter am using is not killing the algae... damned aussie (lovely warm) weather!

PLus we foster 2 staffy cross puppies from Peninsula Animal Aid in Bris... they hard work these 2 ... 5 dogs and 1 cat and 3 fish...

LOL
