I recieved an email from Conan Casino in my spam, now I dont usually open these but did on this occasion as it said 3000eur bonus and I wanted to have a laugh at the terms.

I had a look at their site and played there slots without registering. The software doesnt look familiar to me,does anyone know of this casino?

They've been around for awhile GameScale, that is) - at least two years I would say - although AFAIK Conan Casino is their only licensee so far (I could be out of date on that)

They have TST-GLI certification and are licensed in Malta as a Class 4 supplier, which they give as their GameScale Europe location.

The software isn't bad - it's mostly Flash no-download stuff although they do have a download product and they offer about 45 - 50 games including the usual faves, and in five language versions.

They're primarily a white label turnkey provider, offering four different packages and catering for sportsbook, bingo and live bingo, poker and casino markets.

Not sure where their creative studios are, but at a guess I would say Israel - their CTO, Shachar Tal is there, as is the creative director Anna Leynzon and other managers, all of whom have Israeli backgrounds.

ConanCasino

Hi Guys,

My name is Nadine, I am the Affiliate Manager representing ConanCasino. ConanCasino is regulated by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta, so everything is legit. :) ConanCasino has a great collection of casino games, with everything from table games to slots we try to deliver the best online gambling experience ever. We are now also available in the download version. It is true, that we had only the flash version to start with, but we are constantly upgrading our Casino to improve the player experience. Our Casino is running on Gamescale Software, which was developed for ConanCasino. GameScale was founded in March 2010 and provides a unique gaming platform designed for running a successful online gaming business.

I apologize for emails landing in your Spam, but I can assure you everything is working smoothly and legitimately at ConanCasino. Come check it out! www.conancasino.com

If you have any further questions or inquiries or if you are interested in a partnership feel free to contact me at Nadine@conanpartners.com.

Are you here to help players or market your casino?

If the former, ask Bryan to make you an official casino rep and contact for players with concerns.

Spam is a big problem, and this alone makes your casino appear less than legit. It should be within your control, since the spam comes from your affiliates and other marketing partners, eager to gain commission for referring players to you.

If this software is exclusive to your casino, we won't be seeing any other casinos using it, unless they are your sister sites. This seems to contradict Jetset's post that Gamescale is a "white label" supplier, which by definition implies that they will supply their services and software to anyone who can pay.

Hey vinylweatherman!

You are absolutely right about the Spam, yet he post was from Aug 2011. This was basically just after the birth of Conan. I did apologize for it happening and it won't happen anymore. Every start - up has to face initial hurdles and learn from them. We did! :) And by now everything is regulated and all in order.

Concerning "GameScale", this was my thinking/writing mistake. I meant to write, that ConanCasino is - at the moment - exclusively running on that software and jetset was right, Gamescale is a "white label" supplier. Hope this clears it all up. :)

Greigssy posted this in Feb this year, not August 2011. This seems to be a more recent incident of spam.

I also recall seeing a flood of Conan related spam for a while, although it does seem to have dropped off this year.

Players are often suspicious of "unknown" software, even if it is perfectly legit. A software needs some kind of "pedigree" in order for it to be trusted, and certain softwares are associated with certain classes of operator.

For example, Top Game is associated with rogue operators, and any new operator with this software will come under scrutiny. On the other hand, Microgaming has very few rogue operators, so a new casino running Microgaming is often trusted to a considerable degree simply because it has gotten a license from MGS.
