Under Investigation

Not so long ago I posted a thread about how casinos need to be accountable for tech problems. Last week I sent a screenshot of a tech error that arose playing the battle at VS. I wont get into the error, to me it was a big error, but it's irrelevant to this post. I have been waiting since last week for the outcome. I keep getting " it's under investigation", so today I went on chat and spoke with Elin, I asked her at what point do you guys as a casino say " ok this is taking a long time". Her reply was ' There is no time limit on an investigation". Really??????? I didn't misunderstand her. So basically it can go on forever. This way they are not held accountable for any tech problems on their end. You're damn straight, if it was on my end. I would be told in a matter of hours. I know, I've had it happen! I won't go to Dan because what is he going to do? So VS. Here's a big ..........:mad::mad::mad::mad:. For those that swear? Fill in the blank :). Have a good Monday folks.

Yeah I don't think it's great to keep a customer hanging without any form of resolution. I assume they don't consider it important enough to speed up the investigation.

Some point of reference would be nice, even if they told you 'two to three weeks', at least then you know what to expect.

One of those things where casinos can exercise their right to do as they see fit, there's likely no mention of this in the terms. More a case of 'Don't call us, we'll call you'.

Not great. Unless it really still is under investigation!

Time to wheel out Columbo

I thought about messaging Dan, but Im so angry over their lack of ' I don't give a shit'. I seriously would lose it on him. At least on the forum, I'm some what refrained.

I know the reps aren't always as available as we'd like but I'm sure he'd look into it in greater detail. Best to just read a few people's comments, crack open a cold one and pm him later on or tomorrow.

I'm sure it'll get sorted, even if chat have no clue and it's taking rather a long time!

Lol @ crack open a cold one. I'm a girl :p. I don't trust those guys, I know everyone thinks the world of them, but them saying there is no time limit to an investigation was the final straw.

Girls don't drink beer? You should see the ones down here, they're animals!! :drink::cheers::drink::cheers::drink:

I like my Canadian Rye! lol. Seriously though. Are casinos allowed to have a no end investigation? Meaning no time limits.

I really don't think there is an actual time limit to it. They're basically just fobbing you off! But even sending them emails and especially chat won't yield any quick results. Your one and only bet is Dan himself, but like you said, he's not around when you need him to be!

It's easy for me to say but all I can suggest is to just keep trying him, he will escalate the matter I'm sure. But I do agree that casinos don't have any accountability when it comes to vague rebuttals like 'It's under investigation':mad:

Yeah. I thought they were giving me the run around too.
I stepped out of my box from playing VPL so many years. Tried something new, I'm going back home to VPL. At least with those guys, they don't try baffling me with BS. They are pretty straight up :)

Hope you get it sorted out anyway, I'm sure he'll be on at some stage today. Let's hope it becomes un-'under investigation' sometime soon!

Far too often the casinos have been fobbing players off by such things as "It's under investigation" or "undergoing routine maintenance" that where any investigation genuinely has hit a brick wall, it's hard for casinos to convince the player that they have NOT simply been fobbed off.

I am still awaiting the conclusion of the "routine maintenance" on the MGS fruities, which was what casinos were using as their fobbing off tactic just over 2 years ago. There are some US customers who are still waiting for the "routine maintenance" of the EWX website to finish so that they can log in and retrieve any funds they have remaining there now that they no longer serve the casino business.

I've been thinking, it might be a case of them being stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's a netent game, and as you can see where I'm from, it would be hard to explain to the game provider if they had to go that route. But then maybe I'm thinking too much. lol. I tried uploading the screenshot but the files is too big, and believe it or not, I can't shrink it.

1st bebo is a girl!:eek2: Thought you were a guy lol. What does the 67 mean?

2nd I am thinking the same as you as the problem I have told them is still happening and it's a net ent slot. We all know videoslots is the GOAT (greatest of all time) for withdrawal times and some other things but they don't seem to give a beep about software issues and this is going to be their downfall as people will get tired of problematic or unfriendly software. It's the same as in online poker which they are trying to do with battle of the slots people will play somewhere else where the software is most stable.

I have giving them ideas before and have a few more ideas, I still think they have grown too fast and if it's only Dan and Philip they are overwhelmed it seems and maybe they need a assistant or something. ( I am for hire;)). I don't know how many people are at videoslots or how it all works either.

It's great they are active as they are though here and they check out twitch streams when they have obviously grown by quite a bit in a short time

Yeah, I'm a girl. The 67 is the year I was born.lol. One person on here will disagree with me, but I'm holding firm on this. Their coding rated 0.7, and that is open for a shite load of tech problems. They scored 10 in everything to do with popularity, marketing. And that's were I lose my trust levels with them, outside the inconsistencies with what the CSR tell you. So much money, effort has been taken to get customers, their focus has been lost on other vital issues. I'm putting my picture up, I'm getting tired of being thought of as a guy. And if anyone is from around my area. Shhh:)

Hi Bebo67,

I have contacted you via PM so I can look closer into the case.

You guys are always welcome to contact me via PM if there would be any issues. I am more than happy to help you out!

Br,

Daniel

I don't like this site at all... Don't hear anything from them, no promotions, nothing... Definitely not in my top 5.. Or 10  Hated their welcome offer and I hate leaderboard/tournaments too. May my first deposit on this site be my last :D I've only heard of people raving on about them here.. I mean, all the best to them but, it's not for me this one.

You should not even have had this problem because NetEnt have told their operators that they must not offer their games to Canadians. If a casino is defying their supplier to the extent that they dare not raise such an issue there would be a problem with their credibility. Since this is Videoslots though, I would not have expected them to hold off raising the issue simply because a Canadian player has reported it, but to raise it anyway and deal with any problems this might create between NetEnt and themselves.

Right. Dan is looking into it, so it will be interesting to see what the outcome is. If there is an outcome. Watch, it will be my computers fault :p
