Feedback UKGC review: some conclusions.

rtp is different in every arcade as some arcades have 500 at £2 90% but some are set at 86% services use the lowest setting

The UKGC should force casinos and game providers to have the RTP posted on the games even before opening the game. I also think they should be color coded of some sorts example 97% and above green for good 93% to 96.9 yellow for fair and red anything below 93% as poor. About time the UKGC does something for the players. Casino's are going bananas in lowering RTP's and providers are as guilty for suppling them.
Even though we're a small community it's very important to get the message out to others about RTP. I know alot don't care or understand but that was me at one time. I finally seen the light and doing my best to get message out were ever I can. I recently closed my 32Red account re Club Rouge being taking away even though I was promised I can keep it in previous emails and 3 friends followed me in stopping playing at 32Red, so we can each make changes but as a community I think we can make our voices be heard even louder. Let's don't go down with out a fight.

That really sounds great solution to create some restriction what the majority of active players willing to circumvent before it's been in place. Would really love to hear reasoning and estimation how much problem gambling reduce when you remove autospin option.
Don’t be daft. As if the UKGC has done any “research” above asking some former addicts what would help them quit. Then, in an expert bit of balanced reasoning, effectively labelled everyone with these issues and battered the industry accordingly.

I’d say that, far from helping, this would actually drive problem gamblers to potentially gamble higher. If you get bored betting say 50p/spin which is your usual amount because you can’t set spins going, they spin quite slow and you’re not getting your action I’d say it’s just as likely you’d push your bet up to £2, £3, £5 etc.

The consultation phase has clearly been massively skewed in order to align with a set agenda. I wouldn't mind a bet that the LBO chains have been pushing the UKGC to make online gambling as inhospitable a place as possible in the hope most other operators will all pile out and leave it to them.

The idea of ditching autoplay is absolutely pointless given there will be deposit limits in any case to stop loss of control. There are many ways to prove that not having autoplay ruins enjoyment, increases the chance of a player losing track of play, increases average bet and reduces participation but the UKGC are not interested. They've already made their minds up on what's going to happen, and all the surveys and requests for feedback is purely obligatory, none of which will be considered.
Bunch of fucking wankers the lot of them.

I know this is likely to be on their radar as well but how on earth can getting rid of auto-play be more of a concern then slots which encourage collection of items for "enhanced features". Collection games are simply designed to get you hooked into getting the better feature. Then again I am convinced UKGC actually have no real clue about anything to do with online gambling other than what people tell them.

Put it this way. Even though they may not take a blind bit of notice, I would expect those making decisions to know and at least view a site which has been going for decades dedicated to the subject. Along with an admittedly small number of forum participants, this should help to give some other views, reactions, etc. They don't have to agree with anything but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even know this forum exists.

ive contacted the ukgc today venting my frustrations,i no its a waste of time but i suppose if everybody did it you never no one day it could take an effect im just so pissed off that an enjoyable pastime has now become such a chore and lets face it these new regulations are there only to serve a minority of weak willed gamblers and just spoil it for the majority i suppose thats just the days we are living in at the moment its not just gambling is it

Here is an interesting by-product of the UKGC's decision to remove the autospin function.

I have done less work this week and more slotting because I cannot autospin.

See I usually set the game to spin with a loss limit. However, this week I have forgone work in order to have some fun doing manual spinning instead :)

Only way is to bombard the UKGC with unlimited complaints until they allow auto spin again. Has to be players complaining, they don't listen to operators.

An eventual compromise might be to enable autoplay only on very low stakes or something.
It doesn't make sense to be able to play one spin at £20.00 in 3 seconds and not be able to autoplay 100 spins at £0.20.
The horse has bolted now though - people will vote with their feet because not having autoplay is hard to get used to and you're not going to pay to get into Alton Towers if the rides only go at 5mph when last time you went they were much faster.
Revenues are guaranteed to drop and it will be felt right through the industry. How bad will it be though?

I still think the UKGC are trying to force people back into the LBOs and AGCs where they can tax at a higher rate. The sheer arrogance and blinkeredness in the way they implememnted these changes does make me smell a rat. Maybe the major UK chains have had a big hand in it?

Either way the UKGC can get to fuck. Fucking meddling, joyless bunch of fucking wankers 😫
