You're right that perhaps I wouldn't defend this casino at all if anyone had a bloody clue who you're on about.

still i dont want to publicly complain about that one casino. I wanted to point out that casinos in general should take care about who they hire for cs. ;-) AND what they order them to do. offensive sale might not always be the wrong strategy. it all depends which kind of customer you are aiming. I am on the run as soon as i get the idea someone could try to forcesell something to me. also if it was bmw - a product tried to be sold that way must be trash. basta. its not necessary for good products to be sold that way.

that doesnt go into the direction of a certain casino. the deficits in t&c just were mentionned because it developed. I am sorry for that.

The pasted chat was just an example. I dont want to blame anyone or someone to get into trouble because he was having a bad day. I just felt offended and to post it was my way of dealing with that anger.

casinos operate a very special business. it is very important to have the right people working in cs.

clients deserve to be treated respectfully. also if this time they were just looking and maybe joking instead of buying. they might return tomorrow to buy another time - or in this case - wont ever return.
 
But if you don't actually point out the whos and whys of your discontent, how do you expect the casino in question to improve? It's one thing to have a grumble, but if your complaint is casinos need a better model..well, point this out to the casino. Accredited casinos have reps and managers, they have standards to follow, and a presence here to listen to voiced concerns.
If the casino isn't aware of the level of discontent, there's zero reason to alter their way in how they go about things.
Some casinos DO listen to player feedback and DO alter their business models accordningly - that's why there's various threads here, for casinos to read and work with. Will they change? Who knows. But there's one Hell of a slimmer chance when the casino in question isnt seeing a clear display of feedback presented.

If you don't want to 'name and shame' so be it. But you've no right to complain when nothing changes either.

Sure, and many clients will return or deposit when an offer is presented otherwise unknown to them. Some bonuses are tailor-made and not for public consumption.

Anyway, to put it back on track - as presented in the OP, I don't personally see anything ungainly in how the CS approached you. But different strokes and all that I guess.
 
Next time a chat window pops up, simply click on the little 'x' in the top right corner before it connects fully. :D

This will save you any frustrations or allowing them to wind you up and it will save you a whole load of typing time too! :p

Lol, pretty much what I do if midst of playing. CS get the hint and doubt they're butt-hurt and simply move to the next customer.

This is probably one of the very few exceptions to the 'being impolite' rule. CS employees are more than likely told its part of their job to expect and tolerate certain levels of 'customer dis-satisfaction'

To make any CS agents reading this 'feel better' lol When I was at the croupier stage of my B&M casino employment I'd regularly get....

* Called every swear word known, especially the one which rhymes with punt!
* Threatened verbally
* Spat towards, fag ash flicked on, butts thrown at
* Pushed, shoved, nudged, etc etc

Things improved when I became Pit Boss...

* Damage to my car in car park area
* Gripped up and threatened
* Informed that 'They knew where I lived'

You guys have got it so easy :p :p

the cs is getting paid for CUSTOMERCARE. which he completely failed.

I don´t believe he wanted to offer anything tailormade. usually you get the standard crap labelled a different way.

anyway: I like the feeling of appreciation when getting a freebie. My financial means are developed enough to not depend on any bankroll boost for gambling. especially not, when connected to any wr and "maxbet" rules ;-)
 
I hate chat pop ups and I do avoid live chat, but since I avoid it there is no problem;)

What I can read out from that chat in the first post is that none of you were rude.
Not the CS guy, and not you as a customer.

The only problem here is the closed chat window and we have no idea what happen. I would never come up with the idea that cs would close it on purpose. It is up to you Partyhummel how you deal with things that are happening. Believe the worst is never a great idea.

If I were you I would send a message to their rep and ask him to investigate. It doesn't hurt you or them, and it gives them the chance to make things right.
After this thread I think you owe it to them :)
 
Yeah they do that! on the other side casino cruise gives away deposit bonuses if you chat witht hem... i mostly get something in chat like 50% for 75$ 75% for 100$ 100% for 150. So at leqst they give you something.... Compared to all other casinos don't evem offer you 10%... But yeah they act a bit like Salesman, but why not!? Doesn't hurt me, as i can turn any offer down if i want to!

Probably not mentioning the casino because of the "No Tolerance Complaint"? Maybe? Either way tolerance or not, this whole complaint is a waste of space. You "said do you have gifts today" then you couldn't get anything free, so you go to CM and have to post about this for some reason :what: (maybe Boredom?) I do see the trying to spin it to "they were forcing me to deposit" which is obviously the furthest from reality.

when i was in job till i retired 2012 as managing director in a very difficult branch i tried as often as possible to take the chance to assist in livechechat support for our customers - to stay in touch with clients and to never forget how stressing and exhausting it actually is, if you have to solve that job. i also know how frustrating it can be if you dont succeed. however i never would have done it like that and i also strictly restricted to force visitors of the website into a conversation by popping up a stupid chat window... this is a very deep impression an online orientized company has that way to their costumers and it IS important, not to fail.

Fortunately that casino is not my business so i dont care - i just stay away.

Maybe you should have used a different title for your thread. Because it really makes you look like the ugly part here sorry. :( I really don't feel there was a need for making this thread and really not with a title like this. Poor support guy was only doing his job. You could had kindly said straight away. Sorry no thanks and I do not like when someone suddenly pops up a chat in my face.

That being said I do agree that I do not like something like that myself. And have tried it couple casinos. I remember used to happen at Gowild but again the support / chat person is not doing it to annoy you.

Also how would you know if he terminated the chat on purpose?? I bet he has 10-15 players at same time or something like that. Either he shut it down by mistake or a connection ended it. Again I am not doing this to make you feel bad or attack just giving my input and opinion ;)
 
At least the give you something! How many times i asked casinos i play regularely for a free chip adm they said NOPE than i asked for match deposit offer, NOPE.

So at least they offer something.

GoWild did this as well when i asked so i was at least able to get 30% and a few spins on average, but since 3-4 weeks (although mainly losing) i don't get anything. No freespins, no offer, can't use the promotions calendar, nada.
 
Well, since the identical greeting was used with me at Casino Cruise, I'll assume that it is at least a casino using same player support manual, perhaps one offered for EM Whitelabels.

I was not yet a customer. A "Do you need help registering, or do you have any questions" would have been more appropriate. I ended the chat after a no thank you. They are quite probably paid a bonus for converting site visitors. I have had similiar when visiting other sites, once the bonus offer was worse than the affiliate offer, and once it was 105 spins on Starburst instead of 100 if I deposited the maximum for the match, lol.

I don't know if they still do, but Bet 365's bonus team used to pop up. First time, it came up Casino Rewards and I bordered on rude. I was playing and I was initially under the impression it was a different casino.

The second time I had just won several hundred dollars on a bonus free deposit, and they offered me a match on the deposit I had just made. I declined (why would I tie up a winning session with wagering), told them I was aware there was a bonus team available if I was looking for a bonus I knew to contact them, and to please not interupt my play in future. They never did again. Bet365 has very good support.

I think the chat disconnect was either unintentional or he misread stealth for steal... a sensitive subject for casinos. Some automatic systems will shut down a chat they feel is using inappropriate language or words.

Usually, if I want a comp, I just ask if my account qualifies for something. Guts rep was amusing recently, told me to squeeze my eyes tight and wish for the bonus fairy to visit. She/he did. :)

I dislike people knocking on my door to sell me something, but it doesn't mean I think they should be prevented from making a living.
 
I thought the days had gone where a chat window suddenly pops up invited.It used to happen quite regularly but I play at a range of casinos and have not had this particular issue for months.It is annoying but acceptable until the occasional case where the player politely refuses a promotional offer,closes the chat window and a few minutes later it appears again with a different cs advisor.Any casino that tries to force its business on me in that way is not going to get my business.

As already said, the OP totally over-reacting to nothing at all. If he's decided to never deposit there again because of this 'incident' then so what? If you've got a legitimate gripe, at least name the casino.

For my two cents worth, the rep was not ugly nor unfriendly nor greedy in my opinion. He was doing his job and I am positive if you were there to make a deposit (as I believe the rep may have assumed) I am sure you would have been pleased to receive the freebie - making you pleased he opened the chat box before you deposited otherwise you may not have been entitled to it.

Anyway...I vote for this thread to be closed and we can all move on :rolleyes:
