hi i,m not sure if this is where i should post this. o.k you all know the new casino that intertops casino has just came out with right? i think its called casino red. well i dowloaded it yesterday caz they have given me a free bonus and then last night when i ran my scan it came up with a trojan. the only thing i could come up with that i had did was the new casino. so i took it off and ran my scan again and it came up with nothing. so i downloaded the casino again and ran my scan and it came up with the same trojan. i did this 3 times to make sure and yes everytime i downloaded the casino it put a trojan on my computer. its called artemis and my scan tells me its a trojan. so if anyone elas has had this happen to them please let me know. i did it too many times for it to be wrong and i have e-mail the casino to let them know that this is happening but have not heard back from them yet. and my scan is mcafee. let me know if i,m the only one this has happened 2. i don,t know if you can get it from the c.d they send you or not.

Most antivirus programs come back with a false-positive in regards to casino software; especially when it comes to RTG.

If you downloaded it directly from Intertops' site, it shouldn't have a trojan, and it's quite possible it was on your system before downloading this casino. I've downloaded it and never had any problems...I use Avast! and it catches pretty much everything.

Here's info on how to remove this trojan:

my anitvirus progam removes it thanks anyway. thats where i dowloaded it too from the intertops site. thats what i thought it might have been on my computer before hand but once it was removed and i took the casino off and ran my scan i did.nt have anything and i ran it more then once. but when i download the casino again there it is again the same trojan its always the same trojan that gets on my computer after i dowmload the casino. but as you said it might be that it from a casino and its coming up with a false pos. i don,t know i just wanted to make sure that if there was one that nobody elas got it. in fact just got thought running my scan and everythings good but i took the casino off again.

Try installing running the Casino software after this "trojan" has been removed.
If it does not work it will just be part of the software (probably) and a false positive.
If the Casino works then it is probably a virus and pretty serious for Intertops.
Google search is negative so odds on it is a false positive.

I see 254,000 Google results for artemis trojan

It is likely to be the installer rather than the casino itself. Unfortunately, casino installers behave like trojans, they dial home to download and install the casino from an initially downloaded small file. Some casinos leave this installer in places it shouldn't be, such as the Windows folder, which is probably what makes anti-virus software see it as a trojan, since users tend to intentionally download things to their desktop, rather than the windows folder.
If you remove the installer after use, the casino may still work, but the trojan will no longer get flagged. This could convince you that Intertops DO have a problem, because the test suggested by Rusty would indicate this.

The problem is really with the anti-virus vendors. They are not cataloging much of the legitimate software on the internet, which causes these false positives to show up.

i have no promble running the casino with the trojan on my computer but the casino will not run when my scan removes the trojan or qurratens it then the casino will not run. so i don,t know but i do know its coming from the casino sofeware caz i have ran test after test and everytime i downlaod the casino the same trojan is there when i take the trojan off the casino won,t run and then i take the casino off and download it again and there it is again.

This looks like the trojan is part of the software. It may be the updater, rather than the installer, or even the part that tries to connect to the casino server.
It is unlikely to be a trojan, since RTG is well known software. If this were completely new casino software, and a new operator, then we could not so easily dismiss this as a false positive.
