I have been looking at some of the smaller jackpots that can be won and it seems there might be a trend being set with the casinos. This seems to be happening at a lot of the casino games...Can anyone spot what I see? :what: Or am I dreaming....

The further you get into a new month, the bigger the hit?

Yup, it's like every hit is either the same amount or up another notch, never lower in some of these jackpots...strange isn't it? Just up, up , up or harder to hit , harder to hit and then again harder to hit ya think?

I believe what the trend is showing is not that the games are getting tighter, but there is simply more play going on as the month progresses, evidenced by the fact that 3 of the big hits were all on the 25th of August.

Could be. But when you consider a jackpot can be hit at any time, you'd expect to see dips and peaks throughout the month. It's only a small sample there mind.

Yes, but I'm a #'s persons that believes there is no such thing as pure random, expecially when the random is based on numbers and the #'s I am assuming are from the direct play of the machines. So it may be that a jackpot is 'randomly' hit, but only after a certain $ value of betting has been achieved. The more players online playing, the faster this is achieved and the higher the jackpots get simply because there is more betting going on before the random # pops. There HAS to be a money management element in the randomness of the jackpots or the casino's risk losing thier original Kitty that they put up everytime the jackpot is hit.
Make sense?

Make sense?
Not when you look at the whole picture and more than one casino has sequential jackpots.
you'd expect to see dips and peaks throughout the month
and Simmo! is correct about the highs and lows of jackpots, and sequential for randomness isn't even a factor, but oddly, here it is in print.
