Translation Please - VIP status

I was curious as to my VIP status at a casino so I figured I'd ask customer service.

She told me "your segment status is elite a preferred vip level."

Confused I check their ranking which list: Amber, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond. So I told her that wasn't listed. She responded by saying "it is a preferred VIP level." Not wanting to take up her time I decided to give up and come here. A while back I remember asking them and I was at Gold. It made me wonder because I haven't received anything special. Not even a small no deposit bonus (minus my normal comp points).

I'm sure someone will want to know the name of the casino but I'd prefer to not start a casino bashing war.

I guess my point is, what does a brother have to do to get a freebie? I mean I'm not greedy or anything but geez! Seems like the VIP levels serve no point and aren't "real" VIP levels. Unless I'm not understanding.

Doesn't the "ranking list" detail what the benefits of each level are?
If not, there doesn't seem much point in having it in the first place!

I suspect this is a level ABOVE Diamond, and if you are not happy with the perks now, you will never be, because they are never going to be any better.

One suggestion I just have to make... check your spam folder!!

I've had hundreds if not thousands of VIP players make similar complaints from various casinos in the past.... and after a little digging we find records of alllll the offers they were sent that never got a reply.

Might not be the case here.... but worth mentioning. And this goes for all of you.... Damn spam filters... bane of a casino marketers life

Although to be fair it's really the dodgy/unethical casino marketers that made spam filters suspicious of casino-related activity in the first place. Sort of reminiscent of bonus abusers and bonuses and the two together are a little chicken-and-egg.

Very true and a fair point. (although I believe the politically correct term is 'Advantage Player' ) Bad apples on either side of the fence tend to spoil the fun for the rest of us.

btw... out of Curiosity Cleveland how long have you been a player/VIP at the casino in question? Did you used to get offers and they dried up, or has there never been anything?

Ibelieve they prefer you to be a VIP by wagering more.

@ Iano: I've only played at the casino for a couple of months. Never got any offers. Also nothing in my spam folders. I spoke with their chat rep again and I was told that I'm entitled to 45 % bonus on every deposit, and 100 % on Fridays etc etc. Which is pretty sad seeing as Highnoon has a 65 % bonus thing on each deposit and I rarely deposit / play there anymore. I want to say Highnoon's 65 % boost is for players of any level.

O well, all in all guess it doesn't matter.

If this is the casino that I think your talking about.
I'm surprised they haven't setup a web site like VIP Plan yet, like on the old style. To explain what level your at, plus last I knew somewhere in the software's home page it should tell you what status your at.
My guess is that they haven't defined VIP status levels yet, and that there using the old style cookie cutter VIP levels that the previous casino left in the dust. My guess is like Bryan said, be afraid, be very afraid. Considering they can't seem to get there act together and actually establish there own VIP program page.

Well from my experience I think everyone is a VIP when it comes to a casino because they want everyone to feel special. Yes I have been told I am an extremely valued/preferred VIP.

The only thing I found different was when the casinos I play in, started to notice how much money I cycle through, I started getting account managers that would do a weekly report on my account, call me back within 5 mins of requesting a call back, multiple managers to cater for at anytime of the day that personally know about my account and on a first name basis. When I normally get on live chat the operator usually sounds very nervous and puts me straight through to the VIP manager lol

Apart from that I think when you start receiving 12 year bottles of scotch etc ... With a risk of sounding arrogant, I think I deserve it all after probably paying for a couple of wages with deposits to all casinos put together lol

I think at the end of the day they should treat every player as a VIP but you only know you are a true VIP when you know you are paying hard cash for that service

Edit: Sorry my point is ... It's not what they call you but what they offer as service makes the difference

Next to impossible to get a good bourbon in Israel.

I miss my Makers.

I also miss Flying Dog Brewery.... Gonzo Imperial - my favorite beer!

Get me a Casino who sends me Bourbon and Beer and It'll be like being back home in the south!

But I get flown around the country a bit with penthouse suites and dinners quite often .... Although I probably end up spending twice the amount when I am there lol ... I must say I love being 'ego massaged' ... I am not stupid enough to think it is coming out of there pockets lol
