I like the VS BoS freeroll battles as quite simply, when my deposit limit has been met, these provide cheap gaming with the chance to win free spins and cash.
Now the questions start:
1) The chat section on the VS BoS - why are there always several players who non stop moan coz they didn't finish in first place and don't win anything; complain the slots are rigged; blah blah blah. WTF? Look at the results - obviously there are some people winning big and many are winning more than the initial starting funds. Do you seriously think everyone should win and if so, how do you think the casino will continue to operate if this was standard practice on all slots?
2) Why do people moan about losing? Yeah, it sucks if on a losing streak (don't we all have moments like this!), but naturally someone has to lose if others are winning. Such is life, we know the risks prior to pressing the spin button.
3) Responsible Gaming - nasty grey area this and alas I think I have succumbed to being irresponsible in the past - now come through it and have a changed perception for the better. However, the times of being reckless and stupid WAS MY FAULT AND NO-ONE ELSE'S - INCLUDING THE CASINO! Yes, the EM cases are acknowledged, but not once did I blame a casino for allowing me to play there if I had problems and I would feel bad for asking for lost funds back. (note: yes, I did receive deposits back from casinos in the same group from which I had an exclusion, but not from crying rules and regulations to them). Come on, we are all adults here with responsibilities. If you know you have a problem, please face up to it in a mature manner and not moan about the casino if you circumvented their signing up protocols and then lost money there.
4) T&C's - there for all to see. When opening an account and in order to proceed, you need to tick the box to say you have read them. Who's fault is it if you don't read them?!?!?! Yes, some shitty clauses out there. If you don't like them, don't play there as opposed to playing there, forfeit winnings due to a breach, then start moaning.
5) Bonuses - seriously, don't get me started on these! If the 'bonus' has zero wagering and is fully withdrawable (thank you VS for cash back, race winnings, etc!) great, if not - read the rules for accepting the bonus! No such thing as 'free money'. Yes, crappy gambling adverts on TV giving away free £10 bets, etc - now pause the ad and read the small print (50x or 100x wagering requirement with maximum withdrawal of £100 !!!). Please don't moan if you have spent 76 hours completing wagering and built up £10k balance when all you can withdraw is £100 !!
6) Raging Rhino (I like it!). You get the freespins and several retriggers (say 50 spins), but are upset at only winning £10 from 50 spins at 40p a spin. Please see it another way - in theory 50 spins at 40p is £20, plus £10 withdrawable at the end is say £30 winnings. You didn't pay for each free spin, so surely you saved 50 x 40p by not paying for the spins? Just my optimistic way of seeing it!!! I suppose it depends if you play to win and for the end result or play to enjoy the game and pass time.
