But even if they were allowed mobile phones these random MAC codes are not mobiles for several reasons.

1 All bluetooth devices by law need to be registered and will show on a BT search as "samsung S10" "xiaomi watch" etc, otherwise how would you know which device out the 80 to pair with.
2 Phones do not display their bluetooth identity unless put into pairing mode, when they will display it for only 2 minutes.
3 Bluetooth range is 10 metres, possibly 20 max in perfect conditions

I used to work at a private school which has been ran by Monks for about 400 years. They used to accommodate young nuns from Indian regions and some where very attractive. Needless to say there was a lot of talk about abuses with them.
Also famously a monk called Father John was prosecuted for his abuses of kids. I knew him and he freely admitted that he became a monk to avoid the usual things in life that most of us have to go through. A proper nasty bastard he was and he could not handle anyone standing up to him.
I had the offer of educating my girls at another private school but no way did I want them going through that system or being exposed to any sort of shinannigans.

And it is those type of religious institutions that become the gateway to the sexual abuses and behaviour you hear about from the BBC, Hollywood and the entertainment industry
