The Time Out Corner...

I'm making this my little time out corner. Tomorrow I am officially putting myself on a weeks' time out from casinomeister...

Going to the beach with my grandsons and hopefully they don't drowned me in the ocean, I don't get eaten by Jaws, and /or I don't turn into a lobster on two legs

Although, they may give me a heartattack pushing me down the boardwalk in the wheelchair (my son-in-law also volunteered to push me too ). And my youngest grandson wants to know why grammy won't go on any rides with him (as if my head isn't already weird enough already LMAO).

All in all, I think I may survive and have a great time. Looking forward to eating some boardwalk fries, smelling the ocean air , and just getting away from it all for a week.

Have fun! It actually sounds really nice, we've been getting rain here...and more rain, and more rain. I'm more likely to turn into a mushroom than a lobster.

I am so jealous of you!!! Have a wonderful time, be sure and get a safe tan, drink like a fish (oh wait, that would be me) and come back nice and feisty!!!

Seriously, have lots of fun, Brat!!!

P.S. Do not ever let anyone younger than 40 push you, it really gets scary when the young ones decide you should go as fast as they can push you, with stops sharp enough to fling you about a yard or two out of the chair!!! I won't even comment on turns!!

Well, I'm back in one piece! We had incredible weather until about 15 minutes from home (thunder, lightening and downpour so we were unloading the vehicle in "quick as a bunny" fashion), the skies were clear every day. I did, however, get to share the backseat with a little hermit crab (thank goodness he was in a cage) on the ride home. We went through 2 bottles of sunblock and still managed to attract the suns rays so we are slightly "pink". My son-in-law DIDN'T dump me into the ocean, but my grandson almost rolled me in front of a tramcar LMAO. We had some decadent boardwalk food and a lot of laughs. All in all, it was a great week. It was great to get away, but there is no place like home....
