Troubled "The Platinum Poker Club" joined a room it is often confused with "Platinum Poker" in the APEX network. This network was once known as Victor Chandler/Golden Palace and now has over 100 skins. This room had been blacklisted by a popular portal known as bonuswhores.com for being unable or refusing to pay prop management fees as well as reported slow payments to players and non pays to some props. The Dobrosoft platform they used was one of the worst poker room softwares I ever played. Here is that link to the blacklisted report on TPPC.

Here is the email I received.

Dear John,

Over the past few months we have received numerous requests from our real money players for additional games, more tournaments and most importantly for More Players. We took a long hard look at our poker room and decided to change EVERYTHING.

In order to provide more players right away we are moving our Poker Club to a new network (The Platinum Poker Network), which will allow our players to play with thousands of people from some well established North American and European poker rooms . Now you can meet interesting people from all around the world and participate in ring games of all levels at any hour of the day.

Texas Hold'em, Omaha , Omaha Hi/Low (Stud is coming soon) as well as a host of new tournaments, Freerolls every 2 hours and guaranteed prize tourneys with prizes as high as $100,000.00 are now available. Fast, Hassle-Free withdrawals (especially if you have a Neteller account), First class Customer Service including Online Manager Chat along with Table and Lobby Chat features make our new Poker Club the most Player Friendly on the Internet.

Please download our new, exciting poker software at:
http.........

Your user name and password will work as it did before and your real money balance has also been transferred. If you have difficulties logging in, please contact our customer support for assistance. Either send an e-mail to support@theplatinumpokerclub.com or call 1-877-262-2690. For security reasons you will have to re-enter your real money account data (in the Cashier) before you can see your real money balance. Please spend a few moments to update your personal information, select an avatar (a graphical representation of yourself for other players to see) and familiarize yourself with our many new features and games. If you have any questions please ask the poker room host through the lobby chat or contact our new customer Service.

We are very proud of our new poker room and are certain that you will agree that we are finally living up to our original promise; to provide the best, player friendly poker room on the Internet.

We look very forward to seeing you at the Tables,

The Platinum Poker Club
Dan Williams

Hey Poker Addict,

I looked at Tribeca Tables, Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)
and there are a gazzillion of them. I haven't joined any, but I was thinking about trying out Doyle's. (would like to get the book) I did download Golden Palace just so I could look at the software. Looks fairly smooth and fast.

Question. Do you know if you can get more than one sign-up bonus from this network?

It has been over a year since I played there. When I went to cash out they wanted ID and utility and delayed it for 25 days. They sent "reverse your cashin" bonuses and other BS. I do not know if this has changed.

When I played last I signed up on a skin. I ran into errors. I was told I already had an account by the software. Maybe I had one at Golden Palace casino and this is why?!?!?! I got live help to correct this and at the time, just over a year ago, I was told once you signed up under one skin you could not sign up under any other ones.

Well 25 days for cashout ain't going to cut it. With all the competition in the world, they better get with the program.

Thanks for the info, Poker Addict. I read somewhere that Doyle's was using the same Support but intended to get its own Support soon. I think I'll wait until then, and then join his place. If it can only be one, I'd probably prefer to go that route. And still, I'd sure like to get my hands on "the book." :)

the problems you get with cashouts depend on which part of the network you join through. if you use a Golden palace skin as your cashier you will get all the usual golden palace problems and delaying tactics. Fortunately the other players in this will pay out in a timely manner. Blue Square, Paddy Power (opened 12th Jan), and VC Poker.
