For the past 30 years here in Ct we do this on Jan 1st to bring in the New Year.
But this year I will be left out because i'm still on comp from work and we don't need anyone taking a pic of me.

Surf's up!​

OK, as promised here are today's pikkies.
Unfortunately the surf was up - way too high for any actual swimming.
I reckon the waves were about 8 - 10 feet high as they broke onto the shingle.
Anyways, a very low turn-out again - only 6. I just can't understand why more people don't want to jump into freezing water on X-mas morning - I mean, what could possibly be better?

That's me at the back with the Santa hat, and believe it or not the lady in the front is my Mother-in-law! The wimp in the red suit on the left is my best mate, and hiding behind him is my ex-wife!

Well, a happy and glorious season to you all as well! I was sore tempted to ask Bryan to break our covenant early and let me wish you all a very happy christmas, but I figgered I had enough lingering love here to carry us all through without my posting presence

Looks like a -el nino meets la nina- year here so pray to the meaty urologists that the AU barometric pressures stabilize and I get ten feet of fresh powder to roll around in when i jump out the sweat lodge, or at least that I remember to crack open the creek before sauna
