I dare say that Meryl Streep will make it wonderful (as Thatcher). I'm not particularly fond of political bio, but Streep will have me watching it whenever it goes to cable.

I'd like to see it BUT....

Alledgedly it over-dwells on the onset of alzheimers in her later years which is contentious. Her family were asked what they thought and they thought it was insensitive but they still went ahead and released it.

In light of the fact she is still with us, I agree with our current Prime Minister's comments (Cameron) that it has been released too early.

I'll watch it one day but not while she is still alive...that doesn't sit well with me.

She is like 'marmite'.

I can't wait to see it as i live in Belfast (Northern Ireland) and there is a huge difference in opinion here.

Also Meryl Streep is supposed to be amazing as the protagonist.....

I hear another award acomin :)

I was only young during her years as PM but from what people say about her,the steel work and mine closures also the poll-tax, I know she is not liked and even hated here in Scotland.

This is probably one of the reasons the Tories get battered up here in every election and the SNP are where they are now.

But from what I hear the film doesnt really go into the politics and is more about the woman herself.
