New Slot Announcement The Goonies by Blueprint and more

What's the deal with the skull flashing..?

Three white flash gets nothing.
Two white then a green is mini feature
Two white then red..?

I had it flash red today but all I could say is I got lucky coins for a full screen of the jackpot aymbol, sonic assume it increases your chances.of better payouts?

Doest say anything in the game info about it.

It's always a big win on a red flash. Doesnt mean it will be massive but always a big win

Ha! Yes the commentary did kind of degrade to me just saying 'Fuck off' quite a lot at that point :D

Pretty good compared to mine, whereby the abuse starts generally within the first 30 seconds and continues throughout. You had reached the stage of resigned apathy, knowing your money was lost and subconsciously wanting to lose the remaining few quid in order to walk away...

A long play session on Goonies, as well as some others.

Can't believe how "active" The Goonies was in this session.
I have a complete different experience, not sure if the stake matters on this slot.
We all say it doesn't.
On 20 cents it seems to give the random features and bonus rounds a lot more often.
I played this at 1 and 2 Euro per spin and it wasn't as nice for me. :)

Saw a video on Youtube where the one eyed Willy bonus paid 540x stake but there are also reports that it can only pay like 10 or 20x stake which would be a disaster as it probably is super hard to reach the top tier bonus feature.

The other slot I have not played yet but it seems to dish out bonuses fairly often, might give that a go myself.

Generally enjoy this slot. Yes, it can go a bit feral at times but then what slots can't and it is a hell of a lot more entertaining than some of the HV crap being released on an almost daily basis. Ok, so this slot is not going to feature on many streamers thumbnails because it will not chuck out a 1000x plus win. If that means more frequent 100x + wins, which I have certainly experienced, along with frequent fun spot features I am all for it. Makes a nice, almost retro, change of pace.

I hope it does well because, if nothing else, it is a non HV, non Megaways slot, and that should be encouraged!

The streamers like this one...

Before we got cut off, I thought it was typical Blueprint. You have to hope you’re the lucky bloke of the day. Everybody seemingly has turned to scratch card online slots.

Hi Chops @ChopleyIOM How did you get offered a 100% bonus again so quick, i got quite a few in the past that I never took or took but forfeited before finished, but now I fancy having a good slot bash somewhere and not one in sight on my favourite site? lol Just wondered if you ask for it or was just emailed etc. Super casino have offered me a 100% one but dont really like the terms nor do i think they are an accredited casino here.

Or can anyone recommend a decent deposit bonus for up to £100 dep with ok terms ? Just fancy some extra play time.

I find the MT properties are pretty straight forward..all video slots 100% contribution, few to no excluded games
But really, your best bet is just read the accredited page and the reviews

I was about going to post dont try any non accredited casinos for your own safety

I can only speculate but I guess it comes down to my deposit/withdrawal patterns, I generally make single deposits in the £150-£250 range, and tend not to make much in the way of withdrawals, so I guess my transaction/processing fees aren't too bad on the casino's side.

Also, I'll often leave balances 'casino side' from one session to the next, because I know I'll be playing again before too long, and that can be measured in days or weeks. (I'd often have a decent live balance at 3Dice for example, over the course of an entire month, and eventually I'd lose it as the house edge did its thing. I only stopped playing there when they rather meanly (IMO at least) took a VIP star off me.)

Doubtless casinos such as VS are crunching the numbers on their backend, and I'd guess my profile looks something like:

1) This guy is far more likely to deposit when we offer him a bonus (I like online slots well enough, but can cheerfully go for weeks without making a deposit anywhere, a nice bonus offer has a decent chance of getting a deposit out of me)
2) He tends to grind games at low stakes over extended periods and generally avoids HV games (i.e. lots of opportunity for the house edge to naturally do its thing, little risk of him hitting a mega win and making a quick cashout)
3) Doesn't withdraw that often, will leave balances in place over several days and continue to play from that balance until depleted

So for example in the Goonies session I was playing over two days at low stakes and just grinding away to a bust out, so the bonus did its job in that it got my deposit, but didn't lead to a withdrawal, so as far as VS is concerned the bonus essentially got my money, and didn't cost them anything.

Like I said though, I'm only speculating as to why I get offered these 100% bonuses more than some other people seem to.

Possibly because you post the sessions on YT. I noticed better bonus frequency from some sites when posting sessions on YT.

The videos often get no more than 400-500 views, I can't imagine I'm sending a huge amount of traffic in VS's direction, especially considering my propensity for grumpy bust outs :D

The maths profile on this game is appalling, I'm constantly tracking over 10% adrift on RTP and it just never seems to get any better, yet as I understand it the max pay is 500x stake.

I'm currently at 85.58% after thousands of spins, and it never seems to get any better on a session per session basis.

All I need to do is stop playing it really :eek2:

Oh yes, I can't see any guidance on 'best strategy' in the rules for the feature gamble, which I thought games had to include these days?

And good luck trying to gamble the features, should just be a big button labelled PRESS HERE TO GET BUMMED BY GRANDMA FRATELLI'S FIFTEEN INCH BLACK MAMBA.

If a small operator like 3Dice can show the weightings for their feature gambles in the rules, why do Blueprint get away with saying 'Actual odds may not be those displayed'?

I don’t touch any blueprint game unless the balance is already healthy. Never have I had a good outcome going straight to blueprint in fact 10/10 it rinses me. All my best blueprint wins have been when I’ve already had a nice balance

I had 900 x in the top feature. Gambled from buttom :) You can level up in the top feature.

Nah, I was looking for corrupt.

corrupt
/kəˈrʌpt/
adjective
  1. 1.
having or showing a willingness to act dishonestly
Definitely corrupt. Making out like you have a choice by leaving two options available between going to the top end feature and ending the feature is just manipulation in order to keep people playing longer.

But its not being dishonest it clearly states in the rules the odds may not be 50/50

TBH 10% adrift wont be that bad it has a lot of sub games so would guess if your not hitting your fair share your gonna lose that 10% easy.....

In fairness today's session was better in that I actually hit expected RTP over 1400 spins and my balance only went down a bit.

I don't think I've ever been in profit on this game though.

(These are today's stats only. Lifetime stats are still pretty ugly.)

More fool me but I keep plugging away at this slot. I'm glad I'm only on 20p spins or it would have had a lot more cash off me than it has.

As you can see, apart from a first session when I was up (101% RTP.....), I lose on it every single time.

And yet I still rather like it and keep playing it.

I haven't had the top feature once and gambling the features seems like a surefire way to fuck yourself with a crap mystery prize, so now I just collect whatever feature I spin on the wheel.

I'm sure that massive, life-changing, astonishing win of 500x stake will be mine sooner or later!

Does anyone know if there's actually a best strategy for this on the gambles? Normally on games with a feature gamble the rules explicitly tell you what the best gamble strategy is, but that doesn't exist in the rules for this game.

Love Goonies so much enjoyment it's like blueprint put there heart right into it but then they did beavis and Butthead and the way it feels and plays just isn't inline with what that show was about the lack of random features the very peculiar stuttering when they do an animation which just does fit right the hole.game is drab and to be honest I am bored after 10mins
I love the quirks in blueprints game they add that little extra (will I get that random red key or will.i get that great little feature) let's.hope they wake backup and bring some other great titles would love to see them have ago at say willy wonker or other great movie titles with there additions added
On a note on blueprint not sure if it's just me but I have seen this of late the earlier title blueprint games with random features and features alike the total.lack.of show you used to.be guaranteed to a point in an 100 spins hitting eaither type as of late and watching other play it's now like 250-300 spins and you may still not hit anything
Seems.odd

Typical Blueprint fare, 8-10% going into the big wins leaving the player cycling their money away on an 85% game on which they cannot get in front unless they hit something. @ChopleyIOM - on most of these games you need to gamble the features all the way to the top for the best strategy. I don't see why this game would be any different. The mystery win when you lose can sometimes be pretty decent. These style of games suck you in quickly, forcing the player to commit to chasing the big feature. Collecting anything else along the way will just never be quite enough. Some of the higher features look like they have potential but just never deliver - it's all about punting for the top. I fucking hate games like this but at the same time you can see why it's a clever and successful profile.

Andy Capp, Austin Powers, Beavis and Butthead, Good Feathers, King Kong Cash, Mars Attacks, Rome Rise of an Empire, Ted, The Goonies, The Naked Gun, Thundercats, Top Cat, Viz, Worms Reloaded are all essentially the same game and maths model with a few tweaks here and there. Like TV 'talent' shows, you've seen one, you've seen 'em all.....

I actually find Blueprint games to be great balance-savers and useful for low rollers like moi, whilst managing to be entertaining. Very handy for say doubling one's assets from e.g £10 to £20, then buggering off. Not brilliant for extended sessions. mind.

I've lost count of the number of times the Goonies has saved my hide
