Hi Folks:

Once again, I had the chance to attend the G2E in Las Vegas. NV. This is North America's largest gaming show. As you might expect, plenty of exciting new slot machines to see.

Here is a selection from my visit!

RUBY SLIPPERS 2 (WMS Gaming):

WOW! Now that's entertainment! :) I wish I could play those slots especially Beetle Juice and the Kanomi one with the rolling ball. Crown casino (Melbourne, Australia) is so boring we don't even have WMS.

I've just been reading a report on one of the panel discussions at this conference, and the following jumped out at me:

John Gusik, founding partner of the Franklin Partnership, a Washington, D.C., law and government relations services firm speaking at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas last week:

“There have been 4,500 bills in Congress this year; only 31 have been enacted. It’s a do-nothing Congress. Seventy-two bills dealing with tribal issues and none have been enacted. Internet gaming continues to languish in Congress.”

Thank you for uploading those, looks very interesting! Just took a quick look of the headers, gotta wacth the videos trough some day.
Any idea if/when will those come online.

Hi akrus88:

Typically ... new games reach the casino floor within a year of being shown at the G2E (I actually played a few ... like IRONMAN, YAHTZEE (HOT ROLL), FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, and THE PRICE IS RIGHT (ANY NUMBER) in Las Vegas casinos).

WMS Gaming has the JACKPOT PARTY casino. They have many of their participation and non-participation games up there. It's takes a while ... but it is very possible these titles will be there in a year or two ... particularly if they are successful.

Here is some information on the new WILLIAMS INTERACTIVE SITE:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Here is some information on apps you can download (Phantom EFX):
Outdated URL (Invalid)

WMS had some games on FACEBOOK called, "Lucky Cruise" ... but it was announced recently that the cruise was ending. :)

Konami does not currently have the ability to play online. Aristocrat has the ability to download their apps.

Hope that information is helpful.

Hi jetset ... obviously a dysfunctional Congress.

Assuming Internet gaming eventually comes to pass (the US government could use the revenue) ... I've always heard it would likely be games of skill first (eg. poker).

Austrilian Casino ...

Hi mrmark ... I'll bet WMS would like to be able to place there games there as well. There is a little company called, Aristrocrat ... which dominates your market. Perhaps WMS can not get the economies of scale, or perhaps it is too difficult to get in there. I know that WMS does have a footprint in Australia .. as they have done some of their artwork and development there.

Beetlejuice is amazing ... and it is not even completed yet.

Thanks for commenting!

The best one I saw there was Iron Man (WMS). Confusingly awesome!

Hi Victor ... it's well done ...

WOW Ironman looks good :-( wish I could test before anyone else....

Hi victor ... Ironman is extremely well done. I will have some new videos on this game up soon. The bonus hits are frequent, but it translates into lower wins (more often).

Hi mrmark21:

Of course ... you are in Aristocrat country. As good as their games are ... too much of anything could be a bad thing! :)

I think you will eventually see more manufacturers there ... I know IGT and Ainsworth have a footprint there.

Hi jetset ...

Well ... the Republicans would be the least likely to support internet gaming. While I am a Canadian, I agree with everything being said about Congress. They are not getting anything done. Shame on all of those politicians.

The American Government needs money ... and internet gaming is controversial ... but it is also "low hanging fruit". Politicians can not ignore it forever.

Hi akrus88:

There is no set answer for your question across the board. For WMS gaming -- you will see their stuff through their JACKPOT PARTY site. You will see other titles through Williams Interactive. Aristocrat releases their stuff through iTunes. I'm not sure their games are available for "real money". IGT is available on many sites. I'm not sure about Konami or Aruze.
