New Slot Announcement The Flintstones Playtech

You can understand them priming the videos with big wins etc, but another promotional video with bizarre "creative editing"...

0:39 - Coin Value of 1.25 and Total Bet of $5 (compared to $0.10 and $4.00 earlier in the video)
1:14 - "Free Games Win" (from base game) of $1,000,000 for $5 bet
2:02 - Bonus win of $96, but suddenly turns into $3,000 [... at least this one may be technically possible]

Saying that, nice theme, looks good... hopefully the RTP isn't too brutal!

We have the WMS Flintstones at both locals and I've had some luck with it. Certainly if it shows up at a casino I gamble at I'll definitely give it a run but I won't join a PlayTech casino to play it.

The video had me up until "Coming soon to your favourite Playtech casino". I could forgive the promotional wins and dazzling production but that's just wishful thinking! :(

Still not entirely sure using kid's cartoons sets a good precedent to enticing younger people to gamble. As this particular ship has now sailed I guess we can expect more cartoon slots.

What next, Rugrats? Tom & Jerry? Peppa Pig?? :(

To be fair The Flintstones wasnt geared toward children.

....but watched by millions of them. Was it supposed to be a social commentary aimed at 25-34 olds or something? Must have missed that one

It was actually. Re - Despite the animation and fantasy setting, the series was initially aimed at adult audiences, which was reflected in the comedy writing, which, as noted, resembled the average primetime sitcoms of the era, with the usual family issues resolved with a laugh at the end of each episode, as well as the inclusion of a laugh track. Hanna and Barbera hired many writers from the world of live action, including two of Jackie Gleason's writers, Herbert Finn and Sydney Zelinka, as well as relative newcomer Joanna Lee while still using traditional animation story men such as Warren Foster and Michael Maltese.

If you say so!

I don't agree with you but it's ok, still love you. We're allowed to differ in opinions, even if you're blatantly wrong and I'm right (only joking dude) :thumbsup:

@dionysus

I was still watching The Flintstones up to last year when Teletoon Retro was shut down. It was always an entertaining and well-written show and that's why it holds up so well today. Of course, the later versions of The Flintstones were nowhere as good since they had to be written for Saturday morning.

I really liked Garfield as well. Even if it was also Saturday morning, the writing and voice work was top-notch. Too bad its slot machine is a pile of trash.

.

I am currently travelling but give me a couple of days and I will try to get some information about release date, RTP, platform etc :D
