Woohoo, beers are on me!!!

December has been a kind month to me so far in terms of casino withdrawals and self control.

3 weeks into December and with added expense of Christmas, I have managed to fully pay off one of my credit cards without increasing the balances on the other two! This is primarily thanks to Videoslots and Royal Panda.

May not seem too important to others, but last month it had a balance of £1,258.03 and as of this morning, it is now zero. Given my current situation, I am happy with that! Hopefully January will see another card paid off - obviously by not being silly and spending too much chasing those wins!

More than happy being a low roller now as that seems to suit me more than those silly sessions with increased bets.

As we get older, Christmas becomes rather bittersweet. We all have loved ones we are missing, even if it's been decades.

I'm going to make myself a big boozy hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows.

One sherry is all I can handle. There's always a bottle in my cupboard, it makes it's way into my french onion soup and chinese stir-frys.

Yep, nice to remember missing relatives, but Christmas belongs to kids and if you are lucky enough to have young kids around you at this time of year (except Jimmy Savile ......) it's great to spoil them and enjoy their laughter.

No sherry here unfortunately, but I do have a bottle or two of some decent scotch, so will partake in merryment and raise a glass to everyone.

I was seriously bummed out. My lobster had died! I spent money on a cab, and $19 on the lobster Xmas eve. I questioned the liveliness of the lobsters in the tank, was told they were all fine, was just that they had just changed their water.

Fortunately, a bag of frozen shrimp pinch-hitted, sauteed in garlic butter with some hot pepper flakes I'd dried from this summer's harvest.

There was a little champagne left over, so this morning I'm having fizzy fuzzy navels.

And I'm like the elf in the video from the brussel sprouts!

Yes. My youngest is studying fashion and design at college before going on to Uni and is standing out it seems. Her friend works with Katie Price so my daughter has been invited to stay over after the party. Its a worry but she has to be given her wings. Those people can be party animals,but I am assured that Katie's kids will be there so it can't be too bad

Oh boy, I need a drink! Stayed up late last night as various household jobs needed doing, then sat down for a few games to chill out before bed (around 2am ish, up again at 7am). Wish I hadn't bothered! Logged in to Roxy Palace - withdrawal of £100 was still pending after 24 hours and in a moment of weakness, reversed the withdrawal. Naturally lost and was angry with myself at doing that and equally angry at casino tactics at keeping withdrawals as pending for x amount of time. Well, actually, I was probably furious more with myself!! I then proceeded to exclude myself from Roxy Palace, 32Red and a few others in a knee jerk reaction. Right decision? Who knows. Obviously someone may pipe up and say I have a gambling issue by reversing a withdrawal, but many of us have been there, done that. It's not a big amount of money (initial deposit was small), but that's not the issue as I would only have deposited a few quid and no way near what I reversed.

End result - no withdrawal, me angry (couldn't sleep properly as wound up by my action), numerous casinos now culled from my portfolio and now only have access to 2 (both of which process withdrawals in minutes, not days and have tight limits in place). The money wasn't a huge issue, just angry at the full reversal after telling myself I wouldn't.

Nevermind, shouldn't grumble really as December was kind to me and walked away in profit, just a shitty way to start the new year in a moment of foolishness/weakness.

Probably a bit too early in the day for a drink, so will just suffice with a bacon roll !

I think that most of us have reversed a withdrawal request. I've done it once and never again. This year I have decided to stick with 3 main Casino's with the odd visit to a number of others I like should they have something going on. I was very restrained last month with my deposits because I would hate gambling to impact my family and their Christmas.

This happened to me a couple of time mate, fingers going to fast for bones to take and I accidentally catch some random combination of keys (who know what keys ) and I get a diff font.
