Dipped my toe this time last week IIRC at Ikibu.

IR was lifeless (no change there :rolleyes:) but had a good bit of game time on DOA together with a handful of mixed 'x' bonus rounds on DOA.

No Wild Line or 5 scatters on 1st deposit tho, I mean how rude :p

Ah just the usual mate...Irate customers who think I am the reason they are in impending doom with a non working broadband connection, a bill that is too high or that their account is suspended because THEY did NOT pay their bill.. :):D
But hey,love the job and doing it with pride each and every day.. ;)

Back in the late 80's I regularly drank in a real spit and sawdust type pub back in South Sheilds where I am from with a good mate of mine. One of the few times I declined his offer for a lift there (No one seemed to worry so much about drink driving then) Guess who he spent the evening drinking with? Lemmy from Motorhead. He just sat at the bar talking to anyone who wanted too chat and got pissed.
Has anyone met someone famous unexpectedly? What where they like?

Unfortunately for myself i was not with said group of friends when randomly they bumped into Steve-o from jackass, who was on his own walking through a seaside town.
They shared a blunt with him while he cracked a load of jokes, politely thanked them for the smoke and went on his way haha

One of the perks of my heavy travels was the access to airline lounges at the airports and since i had a Senator Card with Lufthansa I was able to use the first class/Senator lounges. There has not been many times that i have not bumped into somebody famous especially when using the ones at FRA, DUS, MUC, TXL or HAM.

But never ever did any of them lower themselves to talk to me. Admittedly, I wasn't really bothered either. :D

Funny part is they would dig into the freebies offered in the lounge just like any other normal traveler. Rich as hell, but run for the free stuff :D ....Have to admit though that the food Lufthansa had on the buffets in the first class/Senator lounges was outstanding. :thumbsup:
 
While I've met quite a number of famous people few of them were "unexpected". One that does spring to mind was the famous Formula One driver James Hunt, back in the early eighties at The English Pub in Marbella Spain. It was the pub where I found a fondness for J&B Scotch. He introduced himself as Jim Hunt, and it didn't strike a note. My brother was such a big fan he even did a crewel (needlepoint) hanging on burlap in HomeEc class of "Jimmy the Bear". The next day someone was telling me all the famous people that lived or had homes there.

He bought me a J&B, you can pour me one of those for old times' sake.

Bloody hell. I only came down stairs for a glass of milk. I think that Old Taylor Bourbon I had as a nightcap is playing up on me and you lot are still here!

One of the nicest "stars" I met was Paula Yates maybe 6 months before she died. I met her in a restaurant/bar and she was as friendly as could be despite coming across as a bit under the influence.

Anyhoo. The keys are behind the bar and if you want food then cook it yerselves.

I am off to bed to dream about someone I would love to bump into. A thousand times in one night :p

Did you realize that they put loads more salt in your flight food because its harder to taste while flying? One person that I hear who was consistently considered to be the worst person to tend too on flights was Cilla Black. She was renowned for being awful to everyone.

You know what, I cannot withdraw from my neteller plus card it came back as declined, sent email to Neteller and nothing, even for them to call me, still nothing.

Its been way over 24 hours, support is hopeless. But I did transfer most of it to my bank card which will take about 5 days. Most annoying :mad:

well that's my moan for the day lol

Coffee lattee, large, 2 extra shots please...... need to wake up presto to get my daily shopping done...rain and thunderstorms will set in soon again. :o

And a Tom Yum Kai soup, pretty please. :D

I bet most of us would like to have the luxury problem of waiting for money from a win. :D :D

The Neteller just as the Ecopayz card get declined at some banks for some reason that nobody could explain to me until today. Some even deduct the amount and the ATM does not spit the money out. Takes me every time 2 weeks to get the money back. :mad:

I always check if it the amount has been taken wrongly, if not, i go to the next ATM and until now it always worked latest at the third one.

Both cards get also declined at quite some merchants, mostly offline ones.

I use the same bank all the time, it went through the process and then I put the amount in, it went back to how much I want to withdraw again.

I checked my Neteller account and it said something about my limit for the day was over the amount so I don't know. lol

I tried different banks too same thing.

FFS Harry. What's wrong with the house soup of the day? The coriander is from the herb garden out the back. Unfortunately the tomatoes this year where hit with bloody blight and where ruined.
