My team are called The Furgurgers

My team
Adrian,
Clyne, Bellerin, Fucks,Smalling.

Burkley,Payet,Ozil,Toure.

Lukaku, Berghuis.

It would be fun to have some sort of competition in Casinomeister based on our own teams scores using the Sun scoring system? :)

Edit.
I'm so pleased there are not two Fuchs playing in the Premier :)

So much for breezing through the Championship. Looks like Newcastle still have some rust to shake off and are already playing catch-up :mad:

I'm gutted. We had no teeth. The team need to gel and understand each other but I think it was evident that we have some very good players. And we should have had 3 penalties.
It was more interesting to see who didn't play rather than who did as I think that a few more will be shipped out before the end of the window :)

I had a funny feeling about this game, especially being the opener. Fulham always seem to do well against us

I think some players need to get out of their malaise and realize that other teams are out to scalp them!

Yes we are going to be many teams big scalp and test of their abilities. I can't remember the last time we beat Fulham. I;m so glad I didn't take the 40-1 on us going all season unbeaten :)

It's not too late. We can still get Dyer, Solano, Barton & Shearer back to bolster the squad.

Ginola, Ruel Fox & of course Gazza as subs. Assuming Gazza knows what day it is and can see the ball!

That first Keegan era in charge was the highlight of my football supporting life. We seemed like everyones second favourite team then too.

What is this from.....

"Philip Albeeeert...... Oh I say..."

Don't know. Darren Peacock bumming him in the showers?

Great goal from the great man.

Whilst we've got the rose-tinted glasses on, let's not forget this day. We were euphoric after this game

Oh yeah. I recall drinking with my ex father in law while watching this and we went mental

yeah! "The Special One" and the new "God" of Manchester have done what they wanted.
The first trophy for them. And Pogba's back.
will be interesting!

It was a good start but it will take at least one more season before Mourinho wins anything with Man Utd. Oh ok, the League Cup but that's it for the first season!

This is one side. The second is - centre midfields of United... Carrick is too old to be in starting line-up, Fellaini --- are you kidding me? he better go to Moyes..
Schneiderlen and Schweinsteiger - NO!
Pogba-Mkhitaryan will be great.

You're right about Fellaini. He looks on his way out after today's gaffe.

You better pray that Pogba doesn't get injured throughout the season!

Pogba is the biggest Fergie's mistake in his sensational career. Gone for free, back for over 110M
Paul could be the rescue for centre zone..

That was a rather expensive mistake, I remember when they released him. Same as when they let Pique and Rossi go too!

Don't forget though, Pogba still has to pass his medical!

Nice to see the gullible will be flocking to their Sky subs and season tickets after the dismal England display.

The world's richest league, maybe.

Will people still get taken in by pundits like Collymore talking some drivel over and over on Talk Sport about the PL being the "best in the world" when it isn't by a long chalk...

Pongba worth over £100 million I am pissing myself at the absolute stupidity of the clubs in England, he's an above-average international midfielder at best playing in the poorest of the European 'big leagues'.....and now he's worth more than Bale, Ronaldo, Neymar, Aguero, Lewandowski etc.

What did he do against Portugal in the Euro final when it needed something? F*ck-all. Of all the statements of the dire state of English club football this shouts loudest.

Until the money gets reduced and players play for pride as well, and we limit non-UK born players to 4 or 5 a squad and 3 in any one match then nothing will change. You'll all be ripped-off for an over-hyped over-priced mediocre product and enjoy continuing embarrassment of the National side.

You gave the names of attacking players only... Pogba is not so attacking football player.. Ibrahimovic was very poor too, so you will say he is not so good player?!:eek:

I remember clubs breaking transfer fee records with £11 million pound signings! I agree that 100 mil is ridiculous and does nothing to enhance our national game.

Furthermore, is Collymore the best BT could come up with? That's the same shot-shy, blonde-battering loudmouth who is probably about as informed as Phil/ Gary Neville. What a joke!

As for England, well, we're about 20 years away from building a capable team. Much like when Germany laid all the veterans of 1998 to rest and focussed on a whole new youth setup at grassroots level. Of course we need to shoot the dinosaurs at the FA first as the large portion of the blame lays with those bozos

That's what you call a £75million pork pie :eat::eat::eat:

In my prime I could go for months without any training and not putting on any weight so for him to pile it on in such a short space of time suggests that some folk really do have to work at it. Still,I bet it will not take him long in the gym to sort that out. My guess is that players are encouraged to give their bodies a months break once a year?

Unfortunately I recall Trevor Francis being the first 1 million squid player back in about 78. Those where the days when goal posts where metal and I watched Sunday league players knock themselves out or break bones when hitting them. And I used to scrounge their bovril and a quarter of an orange at half time. :P

No one takes footballers seriously anyway, especially overhyped, brash & pampered ones!

It's amazing what effect money has on a person, and let's not forget the good old agent pulling the strings.

Pogba's first choice club was actually Madrid, I get the feeling this transfer was a little out of his hands....

Its all about the money and the money is at the clubs competing for honours.
I wonder if Matt le tissier regrets staying at Southampton?

Same as Shearer. Much as I hate to say it, he would have won a 'few' more trophies at Man Utd

Very true. I wonder if Le Tiss would have got much more international honours if he had signed for the likes of Manure?

Don't forget Beckham. He was being held back by the likes of Man U, Madrid etc. He would have made something of himself at Chipping Sodbury Town

Yes,I remember the days of watching Seaman spreading himself wide while they bore down on him

They'd play around with the ball inside his box all the time. They were renowned for it! :eek2:

And yes, they were excellent at lobbing Semen
