The £10m+ Mega Moolah Progressive (MG)

Oh my... seeing the big 'un reset back to a lousy million is quite a shock :)
Congrats to the lucky winner. Wonder if it could be someone from the fellow forum members ;)

Due to how Microgaming operate this jackpot, it would have to have been won in UK pounds. If it was won in the US Dollar, it would have been paid out as $13,212,882, and the reset value would have been a fair bit higher than £1 million as the reset pool would be £13,212,882 - $13,212,882, and calculated at the prevailing exchange rate.

Due to casino terms and conditions, only Brits should be playing in UK Pounds, hence it is almost certain that a Brit won this.

Well well, as I said in the first post:

"wouldn't it be great if it was won on a mobile device, in the UK and at a low stake"

Exactly what MicroGaming wanted and won on the right day of the week for maximum publicity. Congrats to the winner, but randomness, bah!

A soldier in the British Army, playing Mega Moolah at Betway Casino.........25p. Should be in the winner screenies section, my 'Hyper Wins' thread at approx. 53 million x stake.....:D

MG must love it when UK players win as it pays the maximum potential payout being in GBP, and a new record of the largest ever online slot win payout ever, although we dont know how long they've been blocking it to build it up :D
just feel sorry for all those that have been playing max bet for weeks/months and he scoops it on a minimum bet.

There seems to have been quite a few progressive winners, playing low/minimum stake.
It makes you wonder if the odds of wining at high stakes actually are better

No they are not, but you have a bigger possibility to hit the bonusrounds with a higher stake.

When you do, low or high stakes doesn't matter when it comes to be the lucky one or not.

The odds are better thers just a LOT more people playing min/low stakes so more chance one of them will hit it

this time the 'randomness' of when is being hit lasted for some time. usually when casinos start to send emails announcing that is about to crack, the next 1-2 days is won. i simply love dailymail troll comments every time i access it, beside a good laugh makes my day better. :D

Great win for a guy who certainly deserves it.

What is strange though that the jackpot was hit at a value just above the highest jackpot win to date, which was back in 2013 on Netent's Mega Millions and in turn at the time had taken over from Microgaming the 1st spot for highest online JP wins.

Makes you wonder if Microgaming did let the Jackpot go that high on purpose to regain that top spot!!!

Just me thinking :D

Thinking the same way.
I got some great wins on the dark knight while the jackpot was going up and up, probably because of people pumping money in to it.
I will leave it alone for about 12 months now lol

A couple of hours ago, the progressive passed the £10m mark once again

My prediction (as I was right last time on bet size and platform :D) will be minimum bet on the Dark Knight - a few days before they pull the plug on it!

Have had identical thoughts myself and hence increased my play on this slot since reading of its ultimate demise :(

As you were the first to post a prediction. If the most unlikely thing in the world actually happens, I will send you £100K, and that is a fact, here in black and white proof lol. (PS: Remember I am one jammy git, so you never know :p)

GL:thumbsup:

Gave it a bash with my 60 euro cashmio bonus this morning.

Was bloody evil, got down to about 8 euro.

Got 4 quick bonus rounds and was back up to 55.

Played down to 50 and left it.

EDIT.. Huh, i can see everyone who reads every thread for some reason, usually its just on mine

yeah its in a very, very evil mode. Lost $40 on it on min bets then raised to 60c and lost another $40 before i got free spins, which paid x12. I ran away screaming, not coming close to this one anymore until the very last day :D
