Thanks to Phoenician and Neteller...

Hi,
Just wanted to share the results of my first 'problem' since I started online gambling.
A few days ago I had attempted to make a deposit at Phoenician and due to inclement weather I was unable to do so as I kept receiving a 'can not connect' (or something to that effect) message via the cashier. I figured it wasn't to be and decided against pursuing it - that and the impending tornado warning on the television prompted me to log off.
Needless to say, the next day I received an email that a deposit had gone through - this is about an hour after I had logged off. In a bit of concern, worried that my impatient finger resulted in multi-deposits, I checked my Neteller account and there were actually two transactions..yet only one in the casino account.
I contacted Neteller who in turn gave me the trace numbers to give to Phoenician who in turn were to find out what happened with this 'mystery' transaction.
To make a long story short - I hope - Graham from Neteller PR went out of his way to contact the casino and keep me posted. Phoenician kept me up to date as well.
Even though the transactions had gone through my Neteller and subsequently through my bank - Phoenician still only had one transaction as approved and one as denied. Thus said, today I receive an email from Phoenecian that despite their records differing from mine and Netellers they credited me the mystery transaction.
I thought that was pretty cool and just wanted to show my appreciation by sending out kudos. Thanks to all staff involved at Phoenician and to Neteller (inparticular to Graham) for making this "low roller" a happy camper!

I'm starting to be a little concerned about Neteller. I had the same experience at William Hill back in May. That took over a week to get resolved because of no customer support at WH. I have also heard of similar problems at other casinos. What's going on Neteller?

Is the Neteller website known to go down occasionally? Although I don't use it very often, when I tried to access my account today the website was not available.

My withdrawal went into the twilight zone at Phoenician when their automatic system sent it, and Neteller was down at the same time.. was a weekend so had to wait until monday to get it back, their programmers need to make sure they receive the correct results from neteller, if not.. put it back in the queue ;)

If you want to phone William Hill from the U.S. the # is:
011-800-3551-3551
I've phoned them many times.
It IS toll free.

Neteller stuff..

Hi,
From what I recall there was a time frame that there were upgrades going on, if i'm not mistaken. As far as the offices in Calgary - which i'm not too far from - they could have been effected with the weather in the area. Over the last week or so there has been inclement weather and a number of tornados in and around the area. Not sure if that's what could cause a system to be unavailable but as far as what I experienced it could explain it. (?)

That number does not work for me and I have tried it on numerous times. Email and live chat also do not work.

1. Neteller is NOT down once a day. That is a GROSS exaggeration.
These guys, especially Colin Francis, are the best. Why not give them some slack.
2. And I do agree that Phoenician is a good casino.

It definitely is down once a day this week...I can even list the times when their site was down. I had several MG casinos double charged me because NETeller was having problems and I had to contact NETeller and stuff. Also at least three times I tried to use NETeller to fund my Crypto accounts but NETeller could not be contaced, same goes for 2 RTGs.

Not that I don't doubt what you're saying....
But, just out of curiosity...
Has anyone else have this problem?
Everytime I phone them, I get them without problems.
I log into Neteller two maybe three times a day without problems.

I have never had any problems with Neteller in the years I have been using them. The site is always functional several times a day for me and I can always get a response from live support, phone or email. I logon atleast 5 times a day and have been doing so for the weeks that these functionality problem reports have been posted for. No problems.

1. Totally agree. I have not had any problems but even if these isolated problems do happen, it's life and nothing is perfect. Sometimes I have problems with my bank and their systems for getting online banking, sometimes the casinos are down for upgrades, sometimes websites go down. Welcome to the technology age. Neteller is a great company and I do not think that a few technological problems change that.

2. I agree but would change "good" to "greatest".

I would like to see neteller get some real competition to bring their prices(fees) down. The fees for the debit card are outrageous. I'd also like to redeem my 700000 netpoints for a neteller hat :)

That is the only thing I do not like about them. I ordered the card a long time ago but have not used it due to the high fees charged.
