Don't forget in the UK some casinos won't let you convert more than 4xD some even 2xD if you use the bonus. 3K is actually quite high compared to many IF it works (as it should) as a second chance bonus for when you've lost your cash.

I'd be very happy to say deposit 100 pounds, lose it and then convert the 100 bonus into £3,000 and withdraw that. Don't forget the new UK cash-bonus demarcation has greatly increased the likelihood of a player withdrawing therefore the generosity of bonuses has plummeted - if you could have unlimited or say 50k limit on a bonus AND it was a UK-type 'second chance' offer it would be suicide for the casinos in the long term.

I hear you and I do understand. The bad thing is that they are given the ''rest of us'' the same rules as you apart from the fact that our bonus are tied in from start to end.
You could say that we're paying for your taxes. I stopped using bonuses a long time ago so I don't even know why I care

Well that isn't good at all as there's no need to do that just because a minority of their players in the UK have higher protection by law. I agree you people shouldn't have to subsidize our bonuses.

Not all of them are doing that but as an example Ikibu does as I wrote in that thread. Many have separate rules and some let us have the same rules as you.
It's just too much to read for each casino and we don't really know what rules you have. What we can see it on is that the offers have dried up for us too and if there is any then it's a few spins on Starburst

Freaky Vegas, who are accredited, have the same clause in their UK bonus T&C as #10, although #2 isn't there

If it is, it's badly worded T&C's, it means if you are using the bonus and cancel it, you lose the winnings made from the bonus. It doesn't mean if you win from the cash then cancel the bonus you lose the cash winnings.

Considering that terms ought to be unambiguous, I wouldn't touch that bonus and as it reads it certainly isn't compliant with UKGC regulations.

Yes, that's what I though it SHOULD have said, but doesn't read right, too ambiguous.

They use the word 'money' in #10 whereas to make it definitive it should say 'bonus money or funds' - money implies cash in which case the term would be non-compliant. So essentially they are compliant but have poor wording which insinuates they aren't in term #10. Add the mention of 'locking in' in term 2 and that certainly gives an impression of old-style bonuses.

Quinnbet is fine as are the rest of the FSB sites AFAIK, but this wording needs amending.

I had this at dr vegas, the wording made me feel that once a bonus was active any winnings would be forfeited, even those won with the cash part of my balance, if I tried to make a withdrawal before wagering was completed. For about a year I didn't realise if I won using my cash and hadn't touched the bonus funds I could withdraw immediately. I think its deliberately ambiguous so that you err on the side of caution, don't request a withdrawal when you could but try and complete the wagering [8/10 failing ].
