I recently received a promotional cd in the mail from Sunset Slots. They offer a $50.00 no deposit bonus. Must play $1,500.00, which I have done, and withdraw a max of $350.00.
I gave it a shot and lo and behold my winnings are up to $498.00....so am attempting to wd the $350.00.
Am unable to wd 'yet' because I don't have my banks SWIFT code number. Will have to call the bank on Monday.
The casino also requires me to make a minimum deposit of $25.00 before I can withdraw.

Seems like it will be worth it. I will have followup posts to this as things progress.

I got the same exact promotion and it clearly reads $50 FREE NO CATCH NO deposit required. I create an account log in and all I see is Free $15. No live chat to be found. I don't want to claim the $15 so I wait an hour or so and I get a welcome to sunset slots email. I email them asking about the Free $50 and am told the coupon has EXPIRED, even though I got it one day ago. Log back in and all the coupons are gone including the $15. Email support again and I am told I am banned from bonuses. The kicker through all of this is that they changed the subject line of my email to $50 free is in the account. They obviously didn't do their homework and they obviously don't want my money which is fine. Close the account. They were also requesting my security documents even before I deposited.

Congratulations on beating their bonus. I dont recommend depositing any of your own money in this place though. The only good thing I can say about them is that they are quick to reply to emails.

This is a Rival casino isn't it? I just checked the website and noticed that there was a Canadian flag - checked the T&Cs and it said Canadian players couldn't get free chips or wouldn't qualify for some bonuses, it didn't say Canadians couldn't play there. I wrote to ask and they said:
We do accept Canadian players, however we cannot credit you any free bonuses. You can receive the match bonuses though.

Which is cool if it's legit, we haven't been able to play at Rival casinos for a couple of years.

It has already been a long thread about this new casino.
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/49612/

In there it was discussions about if they had some connection to Red Flush and LaVida. Nothing could lead to any connection so I asked the Rep about it and wanted him to write in the thread.
He didn't want to do that, but at least he told me where the rumours came from.

Since he didn't reply to me anymore I suppose it will do no harm if I tell you what he said;)

Red Flush knows the people behind the new Rival and helped them with marketing and things in the beginning.
I have also come to know when asking others after his reply that that is nothing extrordinary, since many people in the business know eachother. I think it's good if they can help and stay in touch even if it's competition between them.
That's the way it should be in all business, so I don't find anything bothering me about the connection between them anymore.

Maybe it's a good thing to know if you don't get paid. You can always ask their friends if they can step in trying to convince them to do the right thing.;)
One big happy gamblingindustrifamily:D

Thanks Tirilej, I never read that thread because AFAIK I couldn't play at Rival anyhow. Seems though after reading that thread it might be good to wait and see if they iron out their 'paying on schedule' problems.

At least they seems to be paying people, but not fast. Maybe faster for non-US, but I suppose those are the people they want.
Strange if they are allowing Canadians to play:eek2: I would be careful if I were you.

I cannot find my banks swift code online. Maybe it does not have one? Sunset Slots is only offering me 1 option to withdraw and that is 'wire transfer'.

I have been dealing with 'live chat' rep Carl at Sunset Slots. Carl agrees, my bank may not have a swift code and he suggests I log on - off the casino to reset the form and try just leaving the swift box blank....but the form is not allowing that to happen. I've tried several times. Same result. Please note I have received wd's from other on-line casinos and have never needed a swift code from this bank.

I read in the other Sunset Slot thread they are also charging a $45.00 fee for electronic wd's. My allowed '$50.00 free play' win is $350.00. I have to deposit $25.00 before a wd is allowed. That brings the win down to $280.00. Still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick...but I do hope for a smoother $ transfer than I've seen discussed in the other Sunset Slots thread.

I know nothing about the other things, but i do know that if you make a deposit of $25 you just put that on top of the other. So your total withdrawal should be $375.
Good luck in solving the problem:)

If I remember correctly (bear in mind it has been forever since I've had a wire transfer) a swift code is required for foreign transfers. In other words, it's not coming from here in the states. Some banks (and my little bank is now such a one) do not allow overseas WT.

Perhaps continue with your communication with 'Carl' and maybe they can see fit to send a check? And cross your fingers your bank accepts it. (Don't attempt to cash it. Just put it into your gambling bank account and let it 'rest' till all is cleared.)

Good luck. And please let us know how this goes.

All you should need for a bank wire IN to the United States from another country is a swift code and an account number. The ABA# is for US to US wires. I have no idea why but I have a casino asking for my routing address and wire address. I personally think it is a stalling technique because they had other crazy requests as well.

And if your bank is an online bank it is VERY possible they do NOT accept International bank wires. You may need to go to a B&M Bank and I would pick a large bank that doesnt use intermediary banks. This only complicates the process.

I was on live chat with sloto cash rival the other day- I asked because my credit union does not have swift code. He gave a all purpose swift code to me in chat- I didn't write it down at that time I didn't need it. However maybe you can ask about that? Live chat told me try this one it usually works. Hope this idea may work for ya.

it may be that you need the intermediary bank swift and then add your domestic info to that

like the intermediary bank might be the Royal the bank of scottland swift 3xxxxxxxx etc then forward it inside the u s a to your domestic bank this is also why i believe it takes so long

PS us little peeps not as Free as they tell us we are THIS GUY was on top of his game

No payment withour SWIFT code

I called my local bank this morning to ask for their SWIFT code number. The bank informs me they have no SWIFT code and anyone wishing to transfer money internationally to them will have to use an intermediary.

I then contacted Carl at Sunset Slots 'live chat' and he categorically stated "without a swift code we cannot pay you".

Looks like my only option is to set up a new bank account at a large bank like Bank of America or Chase or similar?
Not sure I want to do all that if my new account will require a minimum deposit or restrictions of some sort.

This is turning into a p.i.a. :(

Not to derail but I am still intrigued that they say they will accept Canadian players, Golden Cherry said the same but then got "slapped" and that ended abruptly. Rival being of Canadian ownership had some bitter dispute between the main principles and decided to lock CDN players out due to lawsuit concerns, wonder what the change is here?

IMO they seem like a typical Rival to me. I downloaded and played the $15 free a few weeks ago and then I logged in (or tried to) yesterday and my account is locked. So, they got uninstalled very quickly Another PITA Rival:mad:

I thought it was odd too - I shot a message to the Sloto rep to see if by chance something had changed (if I get to play Rival again I'd rather play with them) and she said the same - no Canadians at Rival.

FWIW, when I sent the mail to Sunset Slots asking them, I got two different responses back - the first one said, "We take Canadian players but we won't give you any free chips but you CAN claim deposit bonuses" and the second one said, "We take Canadian players but we won't give you any free chips or ANY bonuses, you can only play with your deposits."

And, to add insult to injury, I received the CD in the mail today telling me I can claim a $50 ND. If these people would get their act together they would save a TON of money and not waste it on these mailings since my account is locked!!! AAaargh, spam in the mail!:eek2:

Well at least it sounds like they have their own support staff... who have not been fully trained yet! :p
I think that if they were using the centralised Rival support, that you would be told definitely no Canadians.
(I don't know this for a fact - but I think it's extremely unlikely they will take Canadians).

Has anyone here successfully opened and account from Canada yet?

I know on their T and C page it excludes Canadians from ALL bonuses. I remember Golden Cherry support telling me they accept Canadians, which quickly was changed to not at all.

I tried to sign up, no Canada in the country dropdown, I guess there is the answer.

Below is chat, they have no clue.

I have escalated to management and am supposed to have the answer within 24 hrs. I can say with confidence that no Canadians are allowed.

I can't say much but I will say it absolutely is NOT worth it. Don't bother. Really.
